CLAIRE's POV

I could not describe the happiness bursting through me. My lips curled into a smile as the man, I presumed to be Enzo approached me.

He slowly took off the cloak over his head and a sigh of relief washed through me instantly. It was Enzo, the alpha of the pack I grew up in. The alpha who first showed me genuine love. My eyes scanned his face, taking in his fine feature.

His hazel eyes glowed in the moonlight as he looked down at me. I became breathless as I stared at him. It really was Enzo, standing here in front of me. I could not ignore the feeling of familiarity riding up within me.

Without thinking I leaped into his arms, and to my surprise, he wrapped his hands around my waist pulling my closer to him.

“My God, how much I have missed you,” he breathed and stroked my hair.
