Chapter 2: His mate

Margarette's POV

The Alpha put me down when we are already inside of a room. I can't help it but be nervous knowing that it was only us inside of this wide room. 

I never thought that I was with the well-known womanizer Alpha of this school. Who never thought that our path will cross. He is definitely handsome and hot, no doubt that. All the women wolves in here are crazy towards him but not me. 

I don't like a womanizer Alpha. That's what I thought when I still not saw him but the moment I saw him earlier, I could feel my heart react towards him. There's something in him that impacts me. It is not just about his physical appearance but something deep. 

"This place is much better that we can talk about us, lady." I was back to my senses when I heard him talk. I look at him and swallow my saliva as the Alpha stared at me deep to my eyes. 

"What's about us, Alpha Kayden?" I asked with my confused reaction. "Are you going to convince me to be one of your toy in bed? Then, better to back off now." I stated that made him smirk. He moves again to where I was standing which made me step backwards. I tried to pull the doorknob of the door but his reflexes much quick. He pinned me on the wall while holding my both hands. 

Our face is one inch apart from each other. What is he planning towards me? 

"Shut your mouth and listen to me carefully. Talk when I told you so." I opened wide my mouth as he utters that. "You're my mate." He continued that shocked me.

Am I hearing it clearly? 

"You must be kidding me." I can't help but laugh towards him. I can't believe that a womanizer like him will tell me that I was his mate? 

Is he joking? How can he be so sure that I am really his mate if I was only a human and we just met from earlier. 

"You really think that I am just kidding you? Don't you think that if you're not my mate, I will bring you here and talk? I have a lot of women and I won't spend my time with you if you are just an ordinary girl." He said that made my face in redness. Somehow, this Alpha has a point. 

I have an idea about this mate thingy and how it works between Werewolves but, knowing that I was a mate of a wolf I can't absorb this information. 

Of all Alphas but why this womanizer? This must be kidding me. 

"No, this is not true. Your saying this because you save my life from those mean girls. Tell me, how much it cost and I am willing to pay you." I murmured that made the Alpha to free me. He look at me in disgrace so, I can't help but swallowed my saliva by his sudden reaction. 

"Seriously? Can't you just appreciate me. I was the one who told you that you are my mate. If you were the other girls, they will probably took off their blouse knowing that they are my mate." My eyes opened wide upon hearing it from the womanizer Alpha. 

Seriously? 

"Then stop comparing me with your flings, Alpha. I'm definitely not like them and I am hard to get, by the way." I said with a smirk on my face. Alpha Kayden washed his face with his hands in annoyance. 

"Tell me, what should I do to prove you that you really my mate." He said that made me smile. I thought of something and I will probably enjoy what was in my head right now. 

"Then reject all your women. I don't want to hear you with other girls starting this day." I stated that made him to look at me with shocked written on his face. A sly smile curved into my lips as I was enjoying the priceless reaction of this womanizer Alpha. 

"Fine." He replied that made me to smile even more. After that, I pull the doorknob of the room to go out. I think, he won't stopped me from leaving now. Before leaving, I turn around to him and winks.

I can't explain myself either for doing that. Seriously, what's going on with me?

I went back to where my room is. I also try to washed that Alpha out of my head. Actually, I was just kidding him. The more I want to argue with him, our conversation won't end. I know that he won't do what I told him from earlier. 

Knowing the Alpha of being a womanizer, he won't listen to an ordinary girl like me who claimed that I am his mate. 

"He must me crazy." I whisper to myself and went straight on our class. The professor was there already and I was nervous that he might scold me for being late. 

And because I don't want our professor to catch me, I was carefully sneak inside and sit down abruptly to my respective chair. 

"Where did you go?" My friend, Eloise asked me the moment that I sit down on the chair. 

"I just settle something." I replied that made her to smirk towards me. I know that she had some idea where did I go but she didn't tell me since the professor began to talk on our front. 

I can't focused on our discussion because of Alpha Kayden. He was really a distraction. I mess my hair in annoyance. I was about to excuse myself when I heard a very loud voice echoed on the room that made everyone to stop from what they are doing and listened to the owner of that voice. 

"Good morning, everyone. This is Alpha Kayden Hemsworth." I froze to my seat as I heard his voice and his name. Screams from our girl classmates is what I heard now. 

"What is he doing?" I asked to myself and start to be nervous of what might he says to us. For sure, he used all the speakers of this Academy to let everyone heard what he will about to announce.

"I want to inform you all that I already found my mate." He said that made me bite my lower lip while my face start to redden. I could feel my heart's beat so quick. 

"He found his mate!" Eloise said on my side and I just look at her with my nervous reaction.

"I'm doomed." I murmured that made Eloise to look at me curiously. She was about to ask me but Kayden start to speak again.

"Margarette Alistair is my mate. To those women out there who will try to flirt me, don't do that because starting today I won't flirt anybody but just my mate." I could feel all my classmates gazes were towards me. I did nothing but to bend down my head in embarrassment while biting the lower part of my lips. 

I never thought that he is planning to announce to the whole campus about me as being his mate. However it made me happy that he do that. 

"She's his mate." I lift my head as I heard that from my women's classmates. Because of embarrassment, I stood up from sitting and didn't think twice but ran away outside of the class. I need to get out of here as I can't stand anymore the embarrassment I get from that jerk. 

"Hey, mate. Where are you going? Why are you running away? Wait for me!" I heard Kayden's voice echoed on the hallway but I wasn't dared to stopped and continue of running. I need to get out of here as soon as possible. 

I never thought that he will announce to everybody about me. This is really so embarrassing and I don't know how can I face my classmates after this. 

That jerk is really getting into my nerves!
