Olivia walked towards the VIP room, expertly evading groping hands and leering eyes. With her mousy brown hair, dull brown eyes framed by glasses and conservative dressing, she was nothing like her fellow sexy waitress friends Amanda and Trisha. But still drunk men rarely cared for looks.
She knocked on the door with a polite smile.
“Come in.”
Hearing the command, Olivia paused for a moment. Such a husky, sexy voice… She could almost feel his alluring voice sliding over her skin as if in a teasing caress. A girl could orgasm just from his voice! The unwarranted thought startled Olivia and her eyes widened. Since when did she become such a hoe?!
Shaking off her less than innocent thoughts, she opened the door and walked inside. However, her steps faltered when she noticed that there was just a single man in the room. This dude must be fucking rich to afford the VIP room for himself!
Dazedly, she looked at the man. He was sitting with his back towards her, and Olivia watched his broad shoulders. She gulped as she felt an answering tightening in her lower belly. She had the sudden urge to see his face and to check out if it matched with the rest of the package.
“Are you done ogling me or will you take the entire day!”
Olivia was snapped out of her trance when she heard the derogatory tone of his voice. She felt a twinge of annoyance at the man and felt her lust fading a bit as she glared at his back. Of course, he was a jerk. He had a wonderful voice, and he was insanely rich. She had the feeling that he would have the looks to match, too. It figures he would be an asshole!
“Sorry sir,” she gritted out before marching towards him.
“Good evening! I am Olivia Thomas, and I would be your waitress for the day. Are you ready to order yet or would you need a bit more time?”
“Olivia…”
He called out her name as if testing it out. Her head popped up in reflex and she saw his face for the first time. And she sucked in a breath at the sight that greeted her eyes. Woah! God was really feeling generous the day he created this masterpiece!
He was wearing a suit and even if he was sitting, she could tell that he had a perfectly sculpted body by the way his suit stretched against his slender built frame. His messy, dark hair contradicted the calm, controlled aura he was projecting. It looked as if he was running his hands through it all night and she couldn’t decide if it was really messed up or intentionally styled that way. Either way, it looked good; no it looked perfect.
She heard the sound of a throat clearing and she looked up to see the bluest eyes that she had ever seen. And those gorgeous eyes were framed by thick long lashes that any girl would kill for. His straight long nose looked perfect on his narrow face and his thin pink lips looked plump and oh so inviting that she had the sudden urge to lean down and take a bite just to see if it was as soft as it looked. And the light scruff on his face only made him look all the more attractive. Wow. Just wow…
She was snapped out of her trance when those tempting lips turned up in a smirk. Olivia looked up to meet his glacier blue eyes that looked so cold that she felt a chill slither down her spine just looking at them. She had heard someone claiming how ice could burn worse than fire and dismissed that notion then, but now she believed it because his icy eyes were surely burning her alive.
“Had your fill?” He asked in a bored tone and Olivia bristled. What a jerk! Still, despite her irritation at him, her body had a mind of its own. Moisture pooled in her core and her panties got wet just by staring at the God in front of her.
He raised his sharp dark brows at her and for a moment; she was afraid he had sensed her arousal. And then she pushed off that thought. That was impossible!
Still, she clenched her thighs for safe measure, before pulling herself together and then she looked at Mr. Billionaire jerk.
“Sir, your order?”
“Old Fashioned,” he said with such certainty that Olivia was sure that it was his regular order. He seemed like the type of man who wanted to have control in life; the type who hated surprises...
Mentally shrugging off her observations, Olivia pasted on a bright smile before nodding in acknowledgement.
“One Old Fashioned coming right back!” she chirped merrily, eager to get out of his overbearing presence. She needed to gather her wits, which had deserted her the moment she stepped into the room.
The guy raised his brows at her enthusiasm to run off from him and she felt her cheeks redden again. And then she saw a flash of what looked like amusement pass through his glacier eyes. But before she could even blink, they were back to being cold and impenetrable, making her wonder if she had imagined the little glimpse of normalcy in those mysterious eyes.
Shaking off the thoughts, Olivia made a quick retreat and once she stepped out of the room, she let out a shaky breath, feeling her entire body sagging in relief. ‘Woah! That was so intense! Why the hell does this guy affect me this much?’ she thought while biting her lips in contemplation as she walked towards the bar. Her body had reacted to him so strongly that Olivia was shaken up from the ordeal. She couldn’t help but wonder why he had affected her this much when, normally, she never looked twice at a man, however handsome he may be. This abnormal attraction to him definitely didn’t bode well for her.
She had a feeling that something was up with him, but Olivia didn’t plan to cross his paths ever again after tonight. Resolving to act more put together once she goes back with the drink, she marched towards the bar.
Olivia stood in front of the bar while waiting for Cheryl to notice her. Her gaze fell on a guy sitting alone at a nearby table, and she watched him swirl his glass. The amber liquid sloshed against the glass and she recognized the drink as Bourbon Sour, a classy drink that was becoming a popular choice in the bar in recent days.
“Hello love! What can I get for you?”
Olivia was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Cheryl, the bartender, and turned towards her while the mysterious rich guy’s blue eyes flashed in her mind again. Intense, gorgeous, dangerous…
“A Bourbon Sour,” she said absent-mindedly as she thought of going back to the room and facing the hot jerk again. She felt her heartbeat increase to a rapid rhythm and failed to decide if it was from excitement or nervousness.
“A Bourbon Sour coming right up,” Cheryl said in a singsong voice and Olivia frowned, feeling something was wrong. However, before she could grasp it, her friend Amanda sashayed over to her and they both started chatting animatedly. Before she knew it, the drink was ready and Olivia went back to the VIP room with the drinks.
“Here you go. Enjoy!” She said in a fake, cheerful tone.
The man looked up from his cell phone before putting it away and, as his eyes fell on the drinks she brought, his lips tilted down in a frown.
“What is this?” He barked and Olivia flinched.
“Um. The drink you asked for. Bourbon Sour,” she supplied helpfully.
“I asked for Old Fashioned, you idiot! Can’t you even get a simple order like that straight, you incompetent woman! Why would you even work as a waitress then?”
Olivia looked at him with wide eyes, feeling offended by his harsh words. But then his words registered in her mind and she felt like slapping herself when she realised the blunder she had made. With dismay, she remembered watching the man with the drink. In her nervous state, she said the name of that guy’s drink instead of the one Mr. Jerk had ordered. What a rookie mistake!
Olivia looked up at the guy and felt a shudder slither down her spine as she watched the murderous glare he was pointing her way. His blue eyes turned colder than ever and she could almost feel the cold permeating the room as a storm brewed in his eyes. ‘You are so done, Olivia,’ she told herself as her eyes went back and forth between the man and the drinks.
Deciding to try one last time to salvage the situation and save her job, she looked at him desperately.
“Oh, I totally knew you asked for Old Fashioned. But I thought it was so boring and a great guy like you should try exciting things. I thought you would like to experiment and the Bourbon Sour is a great drink. I am sure you would love it!”
Olivia held back a wince as soon as she stopped babbling. Great! Not only had she called his choice of drink as boring, she had also declared that she deliberately changed his drink. She had dug her grave and there was no saving her now…
Slowly, Olivia looked up at the guy to see him looking at the drinks with narrowed eyes. Was he really contemplating trying it? Could she dare to hope?
“What are you waiting for? Isn’t it your job to serve me? Or am I supposed to do it myself?”
Olivia blinked when she heard his question, and it took her a moment to realize that he was accepting the drink. And that meant she was dodging the trouble that she expected. A heavy weight lifted off her chest and she thanked whatever gods were guarding her at the moment.
Olivia gave a dazzling smile to the man; the first genuine one since she had seen him. His eyes widened as he watched her as if mesmerized, and then he cleared his throat before looking away. There was a suspicious tint of red in his cheeks, but Olivia was too giddy with relief to notice anything odd with him.
Olivia placed the tray on the table and as she felt his intense stare, her nervousness returned double fold. She felt like a little rabbit being sized up by a predator who was planning to devour her. Goosebumps rose on her hands and they shook as she took the glass. She added a wedge of lime to the edge of the glass before sliding it towards the brooding man. But her hands were shaking so much that the contents of the glass ended up sloshing outside. Olivia watched as if in slow motion as the amber colored liquid fell on the guy’s coat.
A grave silence hung in the room as she stood still, wondering if it had happened for real or if she was stuck in a horror movie. This can’t be happening! First the wrong drink and now this. It was too unreal! Didn’t she just think that she was lucky that he had agreed to accept the drink? Was this the luck she thought of? She should just quit her job already!
Olivia closed her eyes tightly, waiting for him to explode, and when the deafening silence continued, she peeked one eye open. When her gaze fell on the ominous-looking stain on his pristine grey coat, she winced. She was certain that the thing must have cost a fortune and if he asked her to replace it, she may as well sell her soul.
“I-I am sorry!” She cried out before pulling out a tissue and rushing towards him. Without thinking it through, she rubbed the tissue on his coat, hoping it would dry without leaving a stain. She paused when she felt him stiffen under her incessant rubbing, which had only made the stain spread wider. Feeling the hole that she had dug for herself getting deeper and deeper, she looked up at him with wide eyes.
“What do you think you are doing?” He asked in a calm, controlled voice that was at odds with the amused smirk playing on his lips.
“I am sorry!” Olivia muttered, feeling helpless. That was the only thing she could think of saying. Then she realised that she was invading his personal space and, with her cheeks getting warm again, she stepped back from him.
She watched with bewilderment as he casually popped the buttons off his coat and shrugged it off before throwing it off to a chair carelessly. And he stretched his arms, making his thin white shirt straining against his body. Woah! Was it getting hotter there or what?
She forced herself to pull her gaze away from his body and looked up, only to see him watching her. She flushed seeing his knowing look and cursed herself for ogling him as if she hadn’t caused enough harm already. And as she watched with confusion, he brought the drink to his lips before taking a slow sip.
He narrowed his brows before he took one more sip and she watched as he gulped it down; her gaze riveted on the movement of his Adam’s apple. Never had she thought that watching someone drinking was sexy, but here she was, getting hot and bothered just watching the man have a drink. What was wrong with her? She really needed to stay away from this man. He was trouble with a capital T!
Before she knew it, he had already finished the drink and, as he set the glass down, he looked at her.
“Interesting,” he murmured and Olivia bit her lips, trying to resist her sudden urge to lean down and lick the drop of liquid at the edge of his lip.
Shaking off the ridiculous thought, she looked at him, unable to decide if he was talking about the drink or if he meant something else. Anyway, she was damn lucky that he didn’t make a fuss and demanded her to replace the drink or his suit.
Suddenly, he stood up and threw a wad of cash on the table.
“You better get your shit together and stop being a clumsy fool. I may not be as forgiving the next time,” he declared out of the blue, making her blink at him dazedly. Huh?
Then he cast her a strange look that she failed to decipher and before she could even ponder what it was all about, he turned and stalked out of the room, just like that. Even after he left, it took her a while to collect herself and move from her frozen position.
Wait! She didn’t even bring him the bill, and he had already left? Hurriedly, she took the wad of cash, and her eyes widened in disbelief once again. The VIP room itself cost like hell. But the cash he gave was plenty enough to cover it and the drinks and still leave a tip generous enough to be more than a month’s salary for her. And all this after she had messed up his order and poured the drink on him. One moment he was barking at her like a jerk and the next, he calmly accepted her blunders and left a tip, too. Bipolar much? Just who the hell was this guy? And why was she affected this much by him?
Olivia didn’t know whether she should be happy about escaping his wrath and getting such a huge tip or pissed off at all the insults he threw her way. She sighed and leaned against the wall, trying to calm herself down. He was really wreaking havoc on her sanity and she didn’t even know his name!
As she stood lost in her thoughts, Olivia just knew two things. That there was more to him than met the eye and he was someone whom she shouldn’t play with; someone really, really dangerous. And that it was not the last she had seen of him. She just knew it. Like it or not, she will be meeting him again and she could only hope it won’t be as bad as this time...
Olivia stretched her limbs tiredly before waving at Trisha and Amanda. It was a particularly busy day and her back was killing her after standing for hours straight without a break. As she walked out of the club, all she could think of was reaching her apartment and plopping onto her bed. She was so drained that she was certain she would fall asleep the moment her head hit the pillow. Her apartment was just a few blocks away from the club and hence, despite being tired, Olivia decided to walk. It was late at night and there was not even a single soul out in the streets, but Olivia was used to this. As she walked, the blue eyes of the mysterious customer flashed in her mind again. With all the rushing to serve the orders in time, their strange encounter had taken a back seat in her mind. But now that her shift was over and she had time to breathe, her thoughts returned to him and how she had just about lost herself while in his presence.Never had Olivia ever felt such a strong attrac
As she reached an alley, Olivia fell on the ground again when her body betrayed her and all she could do was lie there, panting heavily as beads of sweat formed on her face. As the effects of the potion faded away and her wolf senses heightened, her eyes widened when she realised she could see everything around her as clearly as if it was broad daylight. Olivia tensed when she heard a wolf’s howl and only a moment later did she realise that the sound had come from far away, probably at the other end of the city where the forest lay. Woah! This enhanced senses thing is really cool and she wouldn’t have minded having it all these years! The next moment, Olivia hissed out in frustration when she took a deep breath and inhaled her own scent. She was so aroused that her panties were literally soaked and, with her heat, her scent was so potent that no wolf who gets a whiff of her scent could control himself even if he tries to. Damn heat!Olivia tried to get up and walk again, but she froze
Olivia looked at the majestic black wolf in a daze as he growled at the men. The large roguish men took a step backwards collectively at the fierce growl and Olivia wanted to do the same, but her feet were rooted to the spot. As the wolf stalked towards the men menacingly, one of her pursuers in wolf form turned tail and ran away from the alley. Good riddance! The remaining men looked torn as they looked back and forth between the wolf and Olivia before they exchanged glances. Then they forced themselves to take fighting stances and faced the wolf, deciding they had numbers in their favor.Olivia was too shaken up by the sudden onslaught of heat, the strange wolf senses and the near rape that she couldn’t focus well on the wolf. But once she was snapped out of the daze, she realized that five wolves getting scared of a single one was not normal. That meant he was too powerful. Most probably he was an Alpha and with what she had heard of Alphas, he must not be trying to save her out of
As Olivia stood frozen with shock, the man leaped out of the bed in a fluid movement before stretching his limbs lazily. As he stood there proudly, her eyes fell on his naked body and she let out a gasp. She wished she could close her eyes or turn away from him. Or even better, run screaming from the room, as she should have the moment she saw him sitting there. But it seemed as if her damn body had a mind of its own and Olivia found herself taking in his appearance hungrily. His gorgeous face, hard chest, and his sculpted abs…He had looked good in the suit when she met him in the club, and she had imagined that he must have a nice body underneath that suit. But even her wildest imagination couldn’t have done justice to the guy in front of her. He was just damn perfect! As her eyes trailed down his flat stomach and to his manhood, her eyes widened in alarm. Damn! That thing was freaking huge. How would it ever fit inside her? Wait, what? Why was she thinking about having him inside h
Olivia stood frozen as fear like she had never known engulfed her. She had just met the guy and had no plans to let him claim her. But watching him die in front of her scared her more than a lifetime of being his prisoner. He can’t just die like that!As she watched the rogue reach towards the Alpha’s neck as if in slow motion, Olivia prayed to whatever deities existed in the world. ‘Just don’t let him die, please! Anyone but him…’He was just a stranger to her, and she didn’t even acknowledge the mate bond yet, so she didn’t know why she was this worried about his wellbeing. But Olivia was so petrified to think rationally. She just needed him to live…Just as the rogue was about to wrap his hand around his throat, his hand snaked out so quickly that Olivia let out a gasp. Before she could even blink, he caught the other man’s outstretched hand and flipped him onto the floor before leaping up and pouncing on him. The tables had turned and now it was the rogue lying helplessly on the f
Olivia frowned and rolled over, trying to avoid the glare of the sun. But she could feel her sleep fading away regardless of her attempt, and she let out a groan. She sat up and rubbed her eyes before letting out a yawn. Then she stepped out of the bed, her toes sinking into the plush carpet below the bed. She paused and frowned; feeling something was off. Then she realised it. There were no carpets in her room! She looked around and her eyes widened as she saw the beige colored walls around her, the ornate king size bed, the walk-in closet and the plush red carpet in the large room, which most certainly was not hers. And then the events of the last day came to her in a burst and she remembered her asshole mate marking her just before she fainted.Damn it! Was it all real? Hoping against hope that it was all just a nightmare, she touched her shoulder where the mark was supposed to be there. The moment her fingers touched the spot, she let out a gasp, feeling tingles erupt from there.
Olivia stared at Michael blankly as her mind processed all the information she knew about Tyson Adams. The notorious Alpha who was feared by all simply because of his unparalleled power and the ruthlessness with which he ruled his pack. She knew only the basic information about werewolves since she wasn’t raised among them but by a witch. Still, even she knew about Tyson, the man who was known for killing a group of rogues single handedly without even getting a scratch on his body.He could very well become the Alpha King any day if he decided he wanted that power because that was how much hold he had on the werewolf world. Even the werewolf council feared him. She would have thought it all as just an exaggerated tale but she remembered the ruthless way in which he snapped the neck of the rogue. He certainly was someone who could kill a person without batting an eye. And he had no problem biting and marking her without a hint of compassion. She had such a beast for a mate!Olivia sigh
Olivia examined her appearance in the mirror and wondered if the sexy red nightie would have been a better outfit for what she had in mind. But the thought of wearing it in front of all those strange men made her shudder. She couldn’t stoop that low just because she wanted to teach her mate a lesson. The shirt and boxers would have to do. After all, she didn’t really want to woo those men, right? Olivia ran her fingers through her golden hair, trying to tame it, and looked at her face. She had washed all the leftover makeup on her face and brushed her teeth with the spare brush in the bathroom. This was as ready as she could ever get right now. With determination, Olivia marched out of the room and paused outside, as if expecting someone to come running and lock her back in the room. But when nothing happened, she started walking slowly while wondering why there was no one here to watch what she was doing. She couldn’t decide whether it was good that he had really let her free or if
Olivia laid frozen, not daring to move, as if lying still will make her invisible. But how can she be blamed when her Adonis of a mate was standing there naked, staring at her like a hungry wolf ready to devour her, pun intended. Olivia gulped, trying to muster the courage to glare at Tyson. She wanted to feel indignant that he was trying to fuck her just like that without waiting for her permission. But who was she kidding? She was too overwhelmed by the damn lust that ignited the moment her eyes met that of her mate. With him standing there naked in front of her, showing off the absolute perfection that was his sculpted body, there was no hope for her. What red-blooded female could resist him, let alone her, who had the additional burden of the damn mate bond? Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t stop from being aroused as her traitorous body became hot under his lustful gaze, and she didn’t want to. If she was being honest with herself, she was tired of trying to stay away from him
Olivia’s heart skipped a beat as she gazed at Tyson, who stood just a foot away from her. A few steps and she could reach out and touch him. Just like that. It had been a while since they had been this close to each other and Olivia couldn’t help but sigh as she took him in.He was wearing a white T-shirt that stretched tightly against his body, showing off his muscled frame. Paired with black jeans, it sent out a casual yet hot vibe. Her eyes fell on the drops of sweat that fell from his hair that went down his face and into his shirt. He must have just come from the training grounds. She realized that his white shirt had turned to see through with the wetness, making her gulp. It should have been gross, but her body didn’t seem to agree as she felt her stomach tighten and her heartbeat racing. Was it hot here or what?Olivia had been avoiding running into him all this while, but now that he was this close to her, she just wanted to close the gap and touch him, feel him, heal her sou
Fanned by her minions, Sandy confidently strode towards Olivia. She stopped and tossed her black hair over her shoulder while cocking her hips in a challenging pose. Her red crop top accentuated her cleavage with her pose as her black miniskirt twirled around before settling by her thighs. Really? A crop top and mini skirt? Was this a club or what? And what was up with this red and black? Wasn’t she wearing almost the same thing when she was all over Tyson? Olivia felt her amusement fade at the thought as she remembered Sandy with her boobs plastered right onto Tyson’s face.“Girls! Look what we have here!” Sandy called out in a shrill voice, making Olivia snap her head up. Sandy’s lips, which were painted a flirty red, were crooked up in a victorious smirk. Olivia didn’t want to sound bitter, but she thought the girl looked painfully out of place in the pack where she had only seen bare, naturally beautiful faces all around her since her arrival. Maybe she would have looked better wi
A few days passed since Olivia shifted to her new room. Unlike the days before where she stayed alienated from everyone, planning to escape the first chance she gets, this time she made an effort to mingle with the pack members. Everyone acted so welcoming to her once she got out of her shell, and with the love she received, she no longer had any plans to flee. She vowed to be the best Luna she could be for them, even if she wasn’t their Alpha’s woman. A luna was supposed to love the pack members, be the motherly figure they could turn to whenever they had problems, be someone who could stand strong and caring at the same time. The Moon Goddess made her the Alpha’s mate for a reason, and she already felt affection and care for the people here. She knew she could be the caring luna they needed and she would do just that.In those days, she hadn’t met Tyson face to face. Well, it was not exactly a coincidence that she never crossed paths with him since she left the Alpha wing. In fact,
After talking to Sia, Olivia felt herself relax. With a confident smile, she stalked towards the pack house, her only thoughts of staying away from the dominating Alpha’s path. She had enough of his bipolar attitude and she had suffered enough heartbreak. She had wanted to give their relationship a chance, but he wanted none of it. Fine. He will get exactly what he wants. From now, she wants nothing to do with him till the day he accepts her as she is, faults included. She won’t ever again let him treat her like a doormat that he can use and throw away when he doesn’t want her. Now it was time to show him who exactly was he dealing with. No more pining after him!Olivia went to her room, which was actually the Alpha’s room and now supposed to be theirs, even though he never used it anymore. She knew that the first step to stay away from his control was to take control herself. She won’t stay in a room which was essentially his and he could come back here as if everything was dandy bet
The next morning, Olivia woke up with a smile on her face and turned to her side, stretching her arm out, expecting to touch the warm body of her mate. But when her fingers only met the cold bedsheet, a frown slid on her face and she opened her eyes groggily. When she saw she was alone in the bed, her giddy mood soured immediately. He left her alone. Again! But then she remembered how he had acted so gentle and loving towards her in the night. That all felt real and after seeing such a side to him, she couldn’t imagine him going back to giving her the cold shoulder again. Somehow, it felt worse after last night when she had got a glimpse of what it could be for them if he didn’t see her as just trouble. It didn’t hurt when he was a jerk, but after seeing the sweet side of him, she just couldn’t imagine them going back to ignoring each other. That just didn’t make sense…Olivia shook her head, telling herself off for her wild imagination. Maybe he was in the washroom? She sat up, her e
Tyson cupped her face before leaning down and claiming her mouth in a hungry, punishing kiss and Olivia melted in his arms, kissing him back with anger and lust warring inside her. She didn't like that he wanted to punish her, but when the punishment felt so good, how could she say no? A part of her loved that he wanted to erase the other man's scent from her body and replace it with his own. But still, she wondered if she shouldn't be offended that a mere scent defined her. Still, all these thoughts left her mind when Tyson's skillful tongue delved into every corner of her mouth, tasting her as if she was the best delicacy he had ever had. As their tongues tangled against each other, fighting for dominance, Olivia felt her senses gain clarity. She could feel his every touch, and every warm breath against her, and every brush of their skin against each other that made her crave for more. This was the first time they were intimate since her heat and somehow, without the additional sens
"It's n-nothing! H-he just danced with me!" Olivia cursed herself when her stupid habit of stammering and blabbering popped up uninvited. "How can his scent be all over you with just dancing?" He asked in an accusing tone. Olivia should have been scared while the big bad Alpha looked down at her, his eyes screaming murder, but oddly, she was turned on by his possessiveness. Even though he looked a bit paler than usual and he was wearing a bloodstained shirt that has seen far better days, his aura was as dominant as ever. He looked hot as hell and his molten gaze was doing strange things to her insides. Butterflies fluttered in her belly and she felt desire rise in her. Focus, Olivia, focus! An angry Alpha is staring you down. It's not the time to get horny! She shook her head and looked up to see him looking at her with raised brows, and realized he was waiting for her answer. Wait. What was the question again? Oh right. Why was his scent all over her if they were just dancing? Beca
“I didn’t want to run away, I promise! I just couldn’t say no to Jenny. She just wanted to have a bit of fun and I just wanted to feel free even if it was just a night,” Olivia blabbered in an attempt to soothe the pissed off Alpha. But her eyes widened in horror when his glacier blue orbs grew even colder and she realized what she had just said.Shit! It would have been better if she had just kept her trap shut. But no. She had to add fuel to the fire by declaring that she wanted to have freedom and fun, implying she got neither in his home. In her defense, it was the truth, but who was going to tell that to the stupid Alpha?“I mean-“ She was saved from spouting even more nonsense that would have only aided in her imminent demise when a figure ran into the alley shouting loudly.“Livie! Are you alright?”Olivia turned to see Jenny standing there, panting as if she had run a marathon. Behind her stood Henry, George and a few other wolves, looking none too worse for the wear. She foun
