“This is all your fault!”

I stared at Leonard as he lunged toward me and I managed to move away from the way before his claws slashed my arm.

“Ouch!” I exclaimed, holding my injured arm.

“This wouldn't have happened if you had just come quietly!” he snapped, lunging at me again.

“What is going on and why did I trace Javier to this place? He's not supposed to be here,” I asked, stepping out of the way again.

“I don't think now is the time to fight, Leo, especially when Javier has little time left,” the doctor said.

I frowned, “Little time? What does that mean?”

Leo snarled at me, “Javier is dying.”

“Dying? What do you mean by that? What did you do to him?” I yelled.

I shifted into my wolf and lunged at Leo immediately. He could barely dodge my attack as I clawed at his shoulders.

“Again this isn't the time to fight!” the doctor snapped.

Scowling I shifted back to my human form as Leo glared at me.

“Little slave has got some claws,” he mocked.
