Rex

It wasn’t long before I could hear them arguing.

Elsa was the loudest out of the pair of them. I could barely make out what Lola was saying, but Elsa, she was very loud and very clear.

Shouting wasn’t usually something she did, even when upset.

“You stupid cow!” Elsa screeches.

I make my way out of the office. Neither of them were in my room, they were both standing outside the bedroom door. Lola’s head was low.

“How could you, Lola!” Elsa’s hands were on her hips. “How could you do this to me?”

“I was just looking out for you.”

“This isn’t looking out for me. You know he tried to kill me, right. You saw it happen? You watched him stab me?”

Nate, they were arguing about him. What the hell had Lola done?

“Elsa, he’s my brother.”

“But he isn’t though is he?” Elsa snaps.

I felt like I should step in. That it would be the right thing to do. Both were oblivious that I was standing there. But I also wanted to see how Elsa handled herself.
