67 - Missing Meagia

[Eskaal's pov]

I was well aware of my father's disapproval of Meagia as my mate, but I couldn't let that hinder me from my actual plan. I had to protect her, no matter the consequences. Because if I hadn't agreed with what my father wanted then he would have definitely gotten rid of Meagia.

With that very intention in my heart to protect Meagia, I left the apartment and made my way to my father's house to confront him about Meagia’s abduction. As I stood before my father, the weight of our strained history loomed over us. His stern and angry gaze met mine, filled with the utter display of disappointment and disagreement.

Taking a deep breath, I mustered the courage to speak my truth. "Dad," I began, my voice steady but tinged with apprehension to not let my temper loose, "I need to talk to you about Meagia."
