Turning around, her eyes fell on Jaime's desk, and she discovered three never-before-seen photos. Their wedding photo, a photo of her and him together after he proposed, and a photo of her alone. She never paid attention to them.

Homesickness passed through her painfully. Her head shot up immediately as the door opened and Jaime entered. Putting the pictures down, she hurried around the table toward the bed and sat down, hoping he wouldn't sense what was going through her mind.

Keeping her eyes flat, she prayed that he would come in and get his computer and leave. Instead, he sat next to her.

"Is your leg better?" He asks.

Why is he worried about her leg?
