Cage woke up the next morning and touched the bed, in search of Lara but her side of the bed was cold. He opened his eyes and glanced around.

He was still in Brad's room. Standing up from the bed, he went to wash his face. It was daylight already. He had slept throughout the night.

Brad woke up too and when he didn't see Lara he asked, "Where is she?"

Cage shrugged before entering the bathroom. He washed his face and came out. "We have a meeting this morning. She might have gone back to take her bath."

"Oh okay," Brad stood up from the bed. "I'll see you later," Cage said and left the room. They prepared to go for the meeting with the noblemen but when they got outside, Lara was nowhere to be found.

"Where is Lara?" He asked one of the maids that passed by.

"I have not seen her, Your Majesty." She bowed. Cage glanced at Brad.
