A soft *clink* of glass on marble countertop sounded to the side. I blinked, taking in the unbroken cup Sirius set there with apparent ease.

“Ah, but I forgot. As Luna, all of this territory is your home, isn’t it? Of course, what’s mine is yours, isn’t it? Well, except for my father. He’s all yours.”

I stood in stunned silence, unable to move. His voice was low. Rumbling. I was surprised; I hadn’t expected much, but I had expected disuse. Maybe hoarseness.
