Chapter 34

Today was fully a week since the assassination attempt by Phillip Pedrosa on his boyfriend, Theodore Pedrosa.

Erick pulled the chair near Theo's bed, opens the shabby page of Theo's favourite novel entitled Being Henry David by Cal Armistead. Everyone who saw that shabby book would know how often that man had read it. For a moment, he looked away from the book, staring at Theo, who still had not regained consciousness.

The scene he read today was one of Theo's favourite scenes, where the main character who lost his memory met a popular girl at a school in the city where Henry David once lived. Theo always said that the meeting of the two figures was similar to theirs, although until now, he still did not understand the meaning of Theo's words. For him, the meeting between the two figures and Theo's meeting with him was different. Not a single one of them lost their memories during their first meeting.
