Gavin looked doubtful as he said it. Several times she found him chewing his own lips while looking around as if worrying about something.

"Gavin? I won't know what's going on until you say it straight away. So, what's the problem?"

Once again, the man expressed his panic 

—something he had never shown to her before. He continued to wait a few minutes until finally, Gavin was sure to say it. "You guys shouldn't be here any longer. Someone's after your little sister."

"Targeting Vero?" she repeated in disbelief, trying to hold back the volume of her voice so that it was not too loud as she did not want her younger sister to hear her surprise. "Who's after my sister?"

"I explained to you before, remember? In our first meeting after you nearly got attacked by werewolves from another territory, about Schneider werewolf clan that is trying to create their own version of a new world?"

"Yes, I still remember about that part. Then?"<
