Following Bianca's directions, Karl drove his car to the place Bianca had intended. The loud sound that came from the gunshot continued to be heard over and over again without no break, yet she could see that the gunshots themselves were not as numerous as before. The screen in Karl's car no longer showed Stephen's face as before but switched automatically to call mode, and only the same noise was heard from their place, becoming the background sounds of the call.
