Lucy’s P.O.V
“What the hell are you two idiots fighting over now?” Sasha asked as she helped Clay up off the floor. I looked from Clay to find Dolton holding his ribs bent over the railing of the front porch laughing so hard I though he would fall over the rail into the garden bed.
“Well?” Anya asked with her hands on her hips.
“It’s nothing Colt just thinks he owns the world” Clay shot him a smirk.
“Who’s the girl?” Sasha asked nudging his shoulder playfully.
“Why you want her number?” he retorted and nudged her back.
“Your such an ass” she said and stormed off inside.
“That’s what I hear” he yelled back. Colton was still standing in the doorway staring at Clay with a serious expression on his face. As I walked over to see if Clay was alright, I noticed Colton went even more ridged.
“Are you alright?” I asked Clay brushing some of the dirt off his shoulder.
“Yeah, I’m fine, not the first time he ha
Isaac’s P.O.VTracking Simon Hayes down to the abandoned house was easy, but we needed to approach with caution I knew if my mate was with him, he would easily kill her if he sensed us coming. Caution was never my thing I was never the level headed one, I counted on Liam to always pulled me back, I could rely on him to have my back and keep my head right. But he wasn’t even talking to me and honestly, I don’t know if he has my back anymore and I couldn’t blame him because of my temper and pride our mate was gone. The hour car ride to the edge of the reserve where Simon was staying, was torture. Knowing that I could be moments away from holding her again I could hardly control my wolf. Liam sat in the back seat stone faced looking out the window, refusing to make eye contact with anyone.“Alpha, we are almost at the border of the reserve how do you want to proceed from here” Theo asked. He had driven our vehicle knowing I would probab
Lucy’s P.O.VGreat so now not only did I have witches after me, I now had to worry about hunters. My head hurt and I was exhausted from all this worry. I missed the days my biggest worry was my father’s overprotectiveness. Oh no my mother and father! In all this mess with my mates I had forgotten about how my disappearing would impact them. They had already lost one child and now I ran away taking their grandchild with me. They would be beside themselves trying to find me. I couldn’t risk Isaac finding out where I am and forcing me to come back to the pack but I needed to let them know I was alright they deserved that much. I need to find Anya, I needed to ask if she could help me contact them without being traced. As much as I needed them to know I was alright I also didn’t want to go back. Honestly as scared as I was, I still had so much growing up to do, and I needed to find my own way in this world. I couldn’t do that if they continued
Liam’s P.O.V Beep. Beep. Beep. I woke to the sound of hospital machines and the smell of intense disinfectant. I knew I had to be in the pack hospital. Confusion set in, why was I here? As I became more awake realization hit me and I remembered what landed me in here. That disgusting rogue almost had me, I seen him going for Isaac, and as much as I hated Isaac right now and threatened him myself, I couldn’t sit back and let that rouge kill him. Without hesitation I jumped in his path, his claws and teeth sank into me before I knew what was happening. Laying on the cold hard floor, I thought I was going to die. As I drifted in and out of consciousness the only thing keeping me from letting go was finding Lucy and holding her again. Her face came to me and I pleaded with the goddess for her to bring her back to me, I needed her. Looking around the hospital room I found Isaac sleeping in the corner and Joseph and Elizabeth hugging by the window. The Elizabeth lo
Lucy’s POV“Are you sure you want to be here today; I would understand if you needed a few more days” Indy said concerned.“Please stop worrying about me, I don’t need another baby sitter I already have Colton watching my every move” I said before looking over to the waiting room where Colton was sitting in one of the uncomfortable chairs looking at us with raised eyebrows.“Don’t bother trying to convince her Indy, she won’t listen to reason” he said.“Excuse me, it is not reasonable to have me locked up in the house till all these threats are eliminated” I retorted back.“Well, I disagree, I think that is completely reasonable” he said back. Indy was watching our exchange and chuckled at his overprotectiveness.“Well Lucy if you’re sure I appreciate the help, we open in half an hour can you pull up my appointment schedule for today and get the c
Liam’s P.O.VSending for the witches this time to try and find her, was a little more complicated, they did not like answering to anyone, particularly us wolves. They had helped us the first time after agreeing to pay them a large sum, this time however, they made it clear witches are not the servants of the supernatural world, and they do not come when we call. However, Joseph can be quiet convincing when he sets his mind to it, that is how he claims to have charmed Elizabeth. I don’t have the heart to tell him it was probably mostly the mate thing.Recovering in the pack hospital seemed like an eternity, in reality it was actually only a few days, but away from her it was a few days to long, she needed me, my baby needed me and I needed to get out there and find her. I keep replaying the last conversation I had with her over in my mind as we drove to the edge of pack land to meet the witch. Lost in the unanswered questioned I had, I had almost forgotten I
Liam’s P.O.V The pack house was loud and busy with excitement, members rushing around making sure everything was ready for our guests. For me the morning felt like it was never going to end, I had been roped in to helping Alpha Joseph and Luna Elizabeth prepare for the arrival of the neighbouring packs Alpha and his family. Alpha James Morgan was the best friend and most trusted in my Alphas circle, and the leader of the only other pack that mirrored ours in size and strength. My pack, the Blood River pack was led by our current Alpha Joseph Anderson, and Luna Elizabeth. They were the embodiment of perfect mates they were equals in every way, they consulted each other before making any decision and were always united and strong, I envied what they shared. Their son Isaac would soon to take over, on his 21st birthday in just two weeks. Isaac still hadn’t found his mate, which meant he would take over alone for now and hopefully find his mate soon. We all know you a
Liam’s P.O.V Lunch was uneventful, I spent most of it looking at my plate trying not to look at her and not missing the death glares Alpha James sent me across the table while he sipped his beer. Luna Elizabeth always served amazing food today was no exception. She had the kitchen do up a full roast dinner and a wide assortment of desserts, I noticed Lucy selecting all the chocolate ones. The dining hall was full with our pack members, wanting to welcome the other Alpha and his family. Lucy was receiving unimpressed looks from the unmated females, and winks and smiles from the unmated male wolves, upsetting me more than it should have I mean she is gorgeous I can’t blame them. But I didn’t want them looking at her. When it was over, and everyone started to leave I let out a short breath of relief. “Do you need me the rest of the afternoon?” Lucy asked her parents “No sweetheart, me and Elizabeth will just be catching up and your father will be talking busines
Lucy’s P.O.V It’s been a week since we came to the Blood River Pack territory, I still hadn’t met the famous Isaac or his Beta Leo. Liam kept getting pictures sent to his phone of all the intense parties and numerous women coming and going. It made me feel bad for him being stuck here with me instead of going out having fun with his friends like I’m sure he would rather be doing. I was just trying not to be too big of a burden on him. My parents were so caught up dad was always talking business or training with the pack (which normally I would be part of but he wouldn’t let me train while here) and mum was helping Luna Elizabeth plan Isaac's upcoming Alpha ceremony. Not that he deserved the fuss he wasn’t even here making any contribution he was too busy screwing his way through the Gold Coasts female population. I mean he was extremely attractive, at least from the pictures I have seen on Liam’s phone, like most Alphas are, but he seemed a little conceded. But who am I to j

Lucy’s P.O.VThe cold feeling of the plastic covering the examination table made me shiver. Laying down in the hospital gown Indy had me change into left me feeling extremely exposed.“You need to take a few deep breaths and calm down lucy, I can hear your heart rate increasing, I am not going to hurt you” Indy said and I knew she was telling the truth.Trying to focus on the sound of her getting the equipment ready and not this incredibly lonely feeling, I should be doing this with Liam ad Isaac, not alone with people I barely know. But I made the choice to leave I need to live with that, I just hope they know I was doing it for our baby, to keep our baby safe. After a few calming breaths I relaxed slightly still feeling tense and uncomfortable but less so. “This might feel a little cold and sticky” she said while placing ultrasound jelly all over my stomach. Moving the monitor so I can see what was happening I had no idea what I w
Lucy’s P.O.VThe drive into Wood Grove was short, I wanted to learn more about this place. The cabin style home I was staying in, which belonged to Anya’s late grandmother, was located on the edge of town and surrounded by vast trees and hidden, it was very beautiful out here.“How do they keep this town neutral, how do they stop a pack, or clan or coven coming and claiming it as theirs?” I asked Anya as we drove.“A long time ago, a group of outcast supernatural’s found themselves exiled and without a home or a safe place to go. They were cast out of their packs, their covens and clans, for different reasons. Mostly because they wanted to live a life that was true to themselves and not one that was placed on them because of the rank, or label assigned at birth” she informed me. “So, with the help of a very powerful protection incantation four towns were set up, like this one, so all supernatural’s would have
Lucy’s P.O.V“We are dragons” he said as if it was no big deal, unable to stop myself from staring I just sat in silence, watching the pair of them in complete shock and awe. After a few minutes of awkward silence I finally found my voice again “Are you serious, dragons, like actually dragons?” I asked a little too excited. He just nodded smirking at my excitment, “but I thought dragons were extinct?” I asked.“Full blooded dragons are, they were hunted to the point of extinction, but mixed bloods like me and Colt are still out there, although there are not many of us left now” he said between bites of his breakfast. The others were clearly use to sitting at the table with dragons, me not so much, I was full of questions “So you are telling me you are actual dragons? as in you can shift into a dragon, with the scales, and the fire and the wings?” I asked excitedly, I would love to see
