Chapter # 43

“Stop toying with my emotions,”

He whispered, adjacent to my cheek, brushing his nose over his, hit hot lingered on my neck.

“What?” For how long could he bear my persistence? The neglect I give him, it must be hard on him.

“You are hurting me.” He told me with in-depth emotions, constricting my heart.

“I am not. It’s your fault in the first place. Why are you so kind to me? Why are you gentle with me? Why are you so good to me?” I asked, rolling my eyes, still acting cocky and getting on his nerves.

“Look at me.” He demanded.

And I know I couldn’t do it. In competition with his stern gaze, I couldn’t bear it so I used my strength and pushed him away.

“Go to hell, don’t bother me.” I snarled, turning to leave.

“Why is it so easy for you to break my heart!?” He raised his voice which hitched my breath.

My back was facing him, I could feel his intense stare, his love breathing in my presence as reverence for the bond which once existed between us.
