After the violent caprice, inducing encounter with her mate, Lucille went to Jared, Alpha of the Demise pack.
Throughout the lands of Tainted Graves, The Blood Moon pack was feared the most as they are considered as bloodthirsty monsters and their Alpha is Leonel.
Then comes the Crescent Heart pack and their Alpha is Alvin, then comes the Demise pack.
Her pack comes in at number five but they are known as foreigners. Today she’ll show him what a foreigner can do.
They both smiled at each other as he shook hands with her,
“Nice to meet you, Alpha Jared. I am Alpha Lucille.” He gawked at her for a second. Her heart skipped a beat when she thought if her mate saw him gawking at her like that, as much of a madman he is, he’ll destroy them. Once again, shrugging this thought off she formed a smile,
“You should be famous for your looks not for your mind.” He complimented her.
“People are notorious for what they are good at.” she replied.
“That’s right.”
“It’s nice to be invited to such a lavish party.” She said sweetly.
“Oh no. Pleasure’s all mine. I just wish to meet you in person. You are well known, Death Strategist.” He smirked, calling her by the nickname people gave her. She smirked back and replied,
“People call me by that name. I never called myself as ridiculous as this.” He let out a dark chuckle and spoke up again,
“Your strategies are always a success as you have also escaped death countless times.”
“That’s flattering. But, I am truly weak in terms of power”
“I know, so I thought I should give it a try as well, to test whether what I heard is a lie or not.” She raised an eyebrow at him as his smirk grew sinister.
“If you walked out from here alive. You’ll win but if we throw you in the dungeon, you’ll become our strategist.” Little do Alpha Jared knows her smirk is more sinister than his as her lips curved upward wickedly she turned saying,
“It’s amusing. But change it little. If I walked out of the door of your mansion before your destruction, I’ll win.” She turned and walked away, disappearing thin into the air.
Do it. She ordered Wendy to sneak out of the party and now is outside the mansion. She walked and saw Leonel leaning on the wall with a smirk,
“You spread the rumor that Jared is planning a sneak attack, don’t you?” He asked. She put her hand slightly in the air and replied,
“Who knows?” He felt so proud to have a mate like her. She is just driving him crazy just by this superiority and mind of hers.
He grabbed her wrist and pinned her to the wall, “Quite clever, I must say.” He spoke in a deep seductive tone.
“Not concerning you.” She retorted, pushing him back and leaving cursing him in her mind oblivious to how she was driving him insane.
A howl was heard as it caused a commotion inside the mansion.
“It was true!”
“That Bastard! He tricked us!”
“How dare he!”
The sound of snarls filled the hall pleased Lucille. During the chaos, she was about to walk out but turned and looked at her mate,
“Now it just leaves you.” She growled at him, earning a dark smile from him. “We’ll see who bends it’s knees first, love.” He winked. “I will fucking kill you.” She hissed. “You already did.” He flirted and Lucille was infuriated at his words.
She also walked out as she saw wolves surrounding the mansion and in the corner stood Nancy, Henna and Wendy.
These wolves are Lucille’s victims. She took them from their wars and later used them as decoys, baits, etc. Now they are here to join the fight and kill every person in sight.
Of course, they are weak but this has caused a riot as everyone thinks that they are Jared’s and he is planning to kill them but they weren’t as they won’t tell her name after the endless torture session and holds death in their fate becasue of the misunderstanding created by Lucille.
It was all Lucille’s plan to weaken his pack. She’ll go to the party with Wendy and later she’ll sneak out of the party and will stand in between the mansion and Nancy to call them when Lucille signals her.
Now, this place will be turned into a bloodbath in a few moments.
“Advance!” She shouted as her toys went inside. She took off her expensive elegant clothes and gave it to Henna and shifted to her wolf form and left back to her home hearing curses from Jared for ruining him like this.
“My, my, how skilled. Desperate to surpass us, aren’t we?” And in this, Alpha Leonel was watching her from afar with faze. He was feeling blessed to have a mate like her. Having her subjugate him will give him pleasure even more than killing. It was something he strived for. His mate. He’ll love to play a game with her.
“You will come to my pack as my Luna and I’ll mark you in front of everyone. You’ll glisten with sweat under me, begging me to continue and I’ll indulge each and every moment of it. I will ensure you do, Dear.” With hysteria flickering in his eyes, these thoughts filled his mind as a deep husky laughter escaped from his lips…
My mate. Mine. My Redemption.
They all went home but Alpha Lucille left something behind, her heart- even though she doesn’t want that but she couldn’t help it too; the effect of attraction was irresistible for them. “Dammit.”
After running away from the dread of her life for almost a decade, she came to face it... again.
Two howls, it indicates that it’s something urgent. Lucille shifted back and went to her room and took a cold shower to eradicate the feeling of his touch that is still chilling her bones, the gratification she was trying to defy.
After calming down she wore her usual black shirt and trousers and went to the main hall only to see her pack intrigued by the sudden call.
Remaining stoic, she sat on the sofa and said monotonously,
“I have two news.”
“One, The plan was a success and now the Demise pack is our enemy. They are not weak enough for not being able to handle a revolt like this. They can easily prevail, but for now, they are weak and the moment they’ll gain their posture again, their first prey will be us and we have to end them before they annihilate us.” They all nodded understandingly.
“It could mean a war is coming.”
“Hmm… You can say so.” Lucille shrugged.
“Then we should attack them before they attack us.” Her Beta; Stacy suggested.
“We can’t… for now.” Her words hide the feeling of fear residing in her heart.
“Why?”
“Because another affliction is chasing us and we are vulnerable unless we deal with it.” She heaved, pinching the bridge of her nose.
“What is it?” Stella asked.
Lucille is not afraid of the Demise Pack rather… her mate who’d break every measure to claim her.
“Second,…” She trailed off. Taking a deep breath, she opened her mouth but didn’t say anything, increasing the concern of her pack to see her like this.
“Is everything alright, Alpha?”
Lucille shook her head in distress and after mustering some courage she announced hurriedly,
“I have found my mate.” taking a pause, “Again.”
It took some seconds for the pack to register what she was saying but when they did, they began to cheer, elated for their Alpha to find her mate finally after all these years of loneliness but she was anything but jovial about it.
“STOP IT!” Her shout echoed through the hallways shutting them up. They don’t understand why she is not happy. When life is giving her a second chance, then why isn't she accepting it?
“Why are you not happy?” The little pup Wendy dared to ask and, being close to her, Alpha immediately cooled down and looked at her big round blue eyes. A sigh escaped her lips as she began to explain her,
“Look, if it was someone weaker than me, I can make him the member of our pack but he is also an Alpha like me and he’ll eventually force me to leave the pack and join his pack as his luna and at some point, I have to do it. It’s something I don’t want. In the worst case scenario, he will take us all under his care; we reached this point on our own, we can’t live on somebody's mercy.” She explained as the little girl made an ‘o’ face in understanding.
“Do any of you even think of herself worthy as an Alpha?” She asked in frustration. Drowned in stress, Lucille couldn’t make her words. Her words made them feel bad, she seemed weak, which she is not. But the consternation surely took its toll on her.
“No one but you can look for us. You are the one that made us who we are today. We will never leave you.” Stacy said earnestly to which every one agreed. She looked at them with wide eyes for a second and then smiled at them,
“You are unbelievable… I have put your life in danger countless times.” Lucille shook her head.
“But that’s increased your worth more because we survived.” Stella grinned, making her chuckle.
“So.. you’re gonna reject him?” Asked Nancy; her messenger timidly.
“I don’t know.. he is not Ravel.” Lucille shrugged her shoulders.
“Then who is he?”
With a shaky breath, she replied, “Alpha Leonel.”
“Then who is he?” With a shaky breath, she replied, “Alpha Leonel.” A silence fell upon the room when they heard it. “From B-Blood Moon Pack?” Olivia asked. “Yeah. I don’t think he will let me slip out of his grasp that easily.” “I have heard he was cursed. He didn’t have a mate for a century and now he found you.” “His bad luck.” Lucille smiled emptily. “Anyways, we’ll wait and see. It all depends how he’s gonna come for me.” She said as she stood up and left for her room. She closed the door behind her and emitted a deep sigh. “I was assured that I could never have a mate again, so how did this happen? Why with me?” She hissed, pulling her hair due to frustration. And out of all people, Him. Filled with tension, she couldn’t sleep. Even after running away that many times, she got caught in the same cage. Like a mouse cornered with no hopes of escaping, feeling helpless, she decided to take a run outside to clear her mind and think about what she should do. To clear h
“Don’t you dare to talk to me.” There’s no way he will let go of his mate, with or without her consent, she has to become his luna even if it means breaking heavens to get her. He has no intentions of letting go of her because of some stupid pride “How dare that woman defy me. Me, who rules Tainted Graves, what does she think of herself.” He hissed, These thoughts disrupt his mind, wrathful by her endless pride and disgrace of his name and seduction skill which could sway any woman except his mate. Scowling, he took off his shirt and ran his hand in his hair, making them messy. He was unable to comprehend at the moment by the seething, only desire to make her pay. “Those scant foreigners, dared to give me an indirect slap.” he hissed, taking a seat. “Trying to soil my firm presence by their shitty arrogance.” He continued to curse, emitting intense fury. “Alpha. Calm down.” Daniel tried to calm him down but to no avail. “I don’t want to!” He yelled, gritting his teeth, curli
“When shall we start preparing for the welcoming ceremony of our Luna?” He asked. “By my order.” He let out a suppressed laugh, licking his lips. “I am going, I won’t be home tonight.” Leonel told Daniel and left. Unlike before, he had a certain destination in mind as he went there to meet his mate. The connection affected his whole being, blinding him in the incomprehensible allure. His feet took him where his mate was, wanting to catch a glimpse of hers to ease the storm of his heart, knowing what her reaction would be to see him. Walking in the woods, he reached a lake and saw Lucille who was about to take off her clothes, wanting to take a bath in the beautiful lake but stopped after sensing Leonel. A bitter look crept upon her face as she looked up and met her gaze with Leonel. Narrowing her eyes, she pointed in the other direction. Leonel turned his head, wanting to know what she wanted him to see while coming closer but when his gaze came again, she was no longer ther
At the pomp of the next day both packs were planning their strategies. Both of them were discussing with their members side by side. “It is most likely the war would take place in our territory. We will play on defense for the time being. Setting traps and releasing all the victims to roam in the land freely to create confusion.” Lucille explained. “Sandra, for the next five days, you guys will survey her land. She will surely play on the defensive, hiding in her manor and did the same at Jared's party, creating confusion. She would never let her members die, the other members would be decoys.” Leonel explained. “But I believe his strength was’t the only thing which made him the strongest. He must have been plotting something else.” Lucille mused, holding her chin. “But I believe her mind is not that weak which made her the death strategist. It’s a simple formation, she must have been plotting something else.” Leonel mused, narrowing his eyes “Give me the map.” They both said, “H
She turned to Wendy again, “You go. Staying here is fatal.” “But, what about you?” She asked tentatively, worried for her, “I must fulfill my duties as your Alpha. Now, go.” She commanded. “Okay…” Wendy retreated and Lucille finally transformed and soon Leonel was in sight. Lucille glared at him, they stood facing each other reflecting the different aura of resentment and thrill. Whole being electrified to break Lucille. Leonel’s menacing intentions were clearly seen from his unnatural eyes. Let’s go! Lucille ordered and ran with her group with Leonel catching up to her, increasing the pace of his heart to finally espy the moment where she wouldn’t be the queen of her ego anymore. There’s no escape, Lucille. He said. I know but I won’t back down without trying. She retorted, turned to look at Olivia and split her ways. Lucille went to the forest while everyone else went in the other direction to join the northern group, leaving Leonel and Lucille alone. Jessica winced in
He threatened, continuing his actions, not removing his eyes from her face making her heart skip a beat. “No…” Lucille’s eyes widened to hear this, mind frozen in dread about the condition of her pack, anticipating how these blood thirsty bastards had treated them. “I can and I might will.” His sentence invoked a violent shiver from her. “What do you want?” Lucille asked in a bare whisper. “I already possess what I want… all you need to do is behave according to my commands.” Lucille lowered her head, agonized, ire, hopeless. They both know the attraction is driving them insane in comprehensible lust but they don’t have an option of melting in it. Leonel noticed the distress in her eyes by his touch as he called her, loosening his grip. “Lucille.” She gave him a vexed look as he asked softly. “Everything aside, tell me, As mates, do you hate my touch?” “Who likes being raped?” She whispered, falling on her knees when he let go. “Not as a natural reaction but emotionally…
“Are you sure, Alpha?” Daniel asked hesitantly, holding the leather whip in his hand, looking at Lucille with a worried expression. Leonel was leaning on the wall with his heart pounding in pain but he bore it, wanting to teach her a lesson. “What happened huh? Get scared by a few lashes? Can’t bear your mate’s pain, huh? Pathetic.” Lucille mocked, sensing the suffering of Leonel and making fun of it. “You will never understand the condition of a worried heart.” Leonel responded with a sigh. “The word worry doesn’t fit in your ruthless box.” She ridiculed him. With another sigh, Leonel gave her a cold gaze. “I know. That’s why-” He turned to Daniel. “Make her countdown from ten.” He couldn’t bear more than that. “Alpha-” “Do it.” Daniel looked at his Luna. “I am sorry, Luna.” “I am not your Luna!” Lucille shouted. With a deep breath, Daniel hit her. Leonel knows he couldn’t do it but it wouldn’t be fair so he forced himself. “Where are you running? Come and witness, Cowar
Lucille And in that moment, I found the path I lost. The actions I should have done. My resentment wasn’t restricted to war or bonds, It could be in any form . I just lost my ability to apprehend and when now I do, He can’t outwit me. “Let’s negotiate!” I shouted, halting Daniel’s action at the very end, getting on my knees and lowering my head. If I have to swallow my pride to make you pay, I will. “Hmm?” “What did you say?” He said in his usual deep, tempting tone. Suppressing my smirk I whispered, “Let's negotiate… Please, spare her.” I repeated my words. “Do you think you are in any position to demand anything?” “Do you think I will let you mark me willingly?” I asked, raising my gaze and looking at him. He smirked, raising an eyebrow, “What are your intentions, love?” “My pack’s protection and for it, I will accept countless surrenders.” I responded honestly. “Ah. I see… Good enough for me. Release her.” Leonel ordered, moving back. Daniel let go of Wendy
Heavy rain poured down, drenching the couple who were walking down with wide grins spread upon their lips, mesmerizing the moment. They walked down the jungle, fingers entwined with the other’s, loving the moment where his hands were in hers, lost in the person beside him. The person he loves dearly whose blood is soon going to stain his heart and soul. But, they smiled, living into the moment. “Where are we going?” Lucille asked. “I wanted to show you something.” Leonel replied, kissing her cheeks as they walked. “We are going to Raymeyer.” She said, recognizing the way. “No, we are there.” She muttered, her smile fading. “You should know Raymeyer was based upon stealing other people's land.” He told her. She hummed, looking around the place which is still the same but now no longer ruled by cruel wolves. “There we are.” They stopped in the middle of nowhere. She smiled, looking around, “There used to be my home.” He told her, tracing his fingers on her palm, curling h
She looked down, “They threatened to kill me if Mama didn’t agree to this.” She mumbled sadly and clinging onto him. “That’s why please, Papa, take us away.” She said, eyes tearing up. His gaze softened, mentally cursing himself for even doubting just a kid who was trying to find redemption. “I will.” He smiled, taking her hand as they walked away. He didn’t think more about it as Wendy gave him a logical explanation for every skeptic and he couldn’t help but to trust her words. When the Mansion came into view, Wendy said. “Its boundary is concealed with silver so on one could trespass.” “I see.” He hummed and they walked closer as Wendy ran to Lucille who was sitting on the stairs of the entrance, humming to herself. Wendy came closer, taking off Ravel’s shirt and throwing it away. “Tsk, stinky.” Speaking nonchalantly. “My work here is done.” She said and went inside to treat her wounds she gave to herself and clean herself. Lucille smiled and nodded as Ravel came, grow
At the western side when the three other packs entered, they found it empty. “Just like they said, Alpha. It’s empty.” The three packs were supposed to come together but Lucille an old acquaintance of hers to arouse suspicion in them that Jared and Rogues are using them and going to kill them after the war. If they don’t believe it, they can come from the Western side and shall find on one there as they were supposed to be dead. She even kidnapped a few members of their pack to make this assumption true. They were coming from the western side. Carl was right beneath them, sensing their movement, Stella was also hidden watching their fear increasing with each passing second. They came and were told their member’s bodies were dismanded here and there. A lethal lull spread in the air as they began to walk forward and found the bodies of their dead members, “It was true, they were plotting us!” “Those bastards!” “We are not going to let them win!” They snarled and ran in the
Normal POV “It is going to be our greatest war but that doesn’t mean victory is beyond our snatch, we will give our all to show everyone that the name which rules Tainted Graves is Blood Moon.” “Together, on a pershied path, we shall move forward!” Leonel was giving his speech to motivate everyone before starting their war. He was standing right in front, Lucille a few steps back and the leaders in line except Carl who was at his spot from the very start. For the last week and when he spotted the enemy, the order discharged to gather and get ready for their war, “You know the most difficult phase would start after this war, I am honestly not even sure that I could survive or not after killing my own mate but-” “-Right here, at this moment, I can’t disregard the strength she provided me. We will make her last war glorious, we will make the last moment memorable. We will show them what we are made of! Are you guys with me!?” He shouted, “Yeah!!” Everyone shouted, cheered, bursting
“First let’s discuss the main force and then come to our tricks and upper hands.” I said, “Okay.” “First, the main force would lead them from head on with the fifty percent of our forces being with Leonel, they would enter from the eastern side.” “But, the easiest way to enter is by the Northern side.” “Exactly. There is Jared’s best force, Leonel is going to take him on. Daniel would be with Leonel but the time when they become visible” “He is going to part and lead a certain part of them to the forest which was going to be set with traps.” I explained to him, “And half of our omegas to take care of the survivors would be there as well.” “Daniel, your team should be swift and after taking them on, you shall go to your original point, the northern side- There will be the weakest.” “What? Weakest?” He interrupted but I put my index finger in the air and continued. “After cleaning the northern post, You will regroup with Leonel. This would serve as a backup and overwhelm the
The next day sunlight penetrated through the window and fell on my face, waking me up from my peaceful slumber. I woke up after living the most explicitly euphoric night of my life where he showered me with the pleasure and affection my soul yearned for. Showing me a mere show of gratification and I was immersed in the exhilaration entirely. Not wanting to get out of that world of smiles. This was the most lull-inducing intercourse I have ever had, no force, no repulsion. Only ecstasy and his endearment for whether I am comfortable with him or not. “Hey..” A deep yet loving voice reached my ears, smiling. I stretched my arms and turned to him. “How are you?” He asked sweetly, removing the hairs on my face behind. I smiled, “Great.” He tittered and leaned down, brushing his nose against mine. I closed my eyes, relaxed into the moment where he was mine. “That’s good, love because today is going to be stressful.” He said as I frowned. “Don’t spoil my mood.” I mumbled,
After he left, I closed my eyes, exhaling deeply, moving back as my back hit his chest, holding my shoulder supportively, rubbing circles with his thumb to soothe me down. Lowering my head in shame, I murmured. “Thank you for sticking to my side.” And went back to the mansion, not wanting to face anyone who is still with me after what happened. “I was always there you never noticed before.” “I know, it’s my fault.” I rush to my room, not wanting to see anyone. I began to pace around the room, rubbing my cold hands together in disquiet until a strong addictive scent reached my nostril. Sensing Leonel’s presence behind me, my lips can’t pursue a single sound, affixing my eyes on the ground. “Oh, there you are.” I remained motionless when his one hand snaked around my waist, pulling me closer while his other hand took a strand of my hair in his hands. “Why are you running away, Lucille?” He asked compassionately. “What do you seek when I am with you?” “I am scared…” I
“Alpha… Alpha Jared is here… with Ravel…” Daniel informed us, My grip on Leonel tightened in tension as he noticed the fright coming to my face. I looked down, not knowing what to do or say. “I see we are coming.” Daniel nodded and moved away, leaving us alone for a moment after sensing the awkwards dispersed in the air because of me, “Are you alright?” He asked softly, cupping my cheeks. “You are not angry.. With me?” I asked, looking down, biting my lips in nervousness. “Don’t you want to hit me? To punish me for what I did?” I asked tensed but he only lifted my chin, boring his tender gaze intmore mine. “I have already announced your punitive. Besides,” He moved closer, whispering in my ears, “I don’t want to waste my time with you.” He smiled and moved back, holding my hands tightly, “We can do this. Be yourself.” he assured me. “I don't think I could do it anymore.” I confessed. “You can, I believe in you. Show them.” He cheered me up, holding my hands tight
Lucille Leonel’s everlasting display of affection made me feel so concentrated and depraved to think how wrong I was about him. What have I done? How badly I misjudged him? And now when I want to redeem things, I have already lost what I began to cherish more than I could imagine. Miraculously he let both me and Wendy live and even asked to be like mates should be. I guess he wanted to treasure what so little has been left with me alongside smiling and enthralling memories. We went out to hunt, he needed to satisfy his hunger for blood. After it, I helped him clean up and now he was leaning on a tree as my head was resting on his lap, one hand in mine. “Leonel..” “Hmm?” He hummed without opening his eyes. “No one has ever held my hand protectively.” I told him softly. From time to time I told him about the things he made me feel, about the warmth deprived from me by him. “And now, I am not leaving it.” He smiled, opening his eyes and leaning down to my face, brush
