Ryan's POV

I swirled around, digging in a step while I tasted the dish I had made.

“ It is perfect” Gladys assured me while I stood wondering if indeed I wasn't doing too much, but there was nothing like doing too much when it involved family. My family. An evil grin accompanied my face.

“ Are you sure?” She gave me a thumbs up, smirking even.

“ Is there something on my face?” She was suddenly acting stunned.

“ No, I am just glad that you are back with her. I know that you wouldn't hurt her” I was sure that I wouldn't. I was a hundred percent sure because why would I fumble this again?

I held the tray, counting my steps while I walked up the stairs, so gently that I didn't want anything to spill.

“ What the hell!” I cursed, my heart almost flying over my head when I saw who it was.

What exactly was Julian doing up this early morning?

I held the tray tighter before asking.

“ Is there something you want?”

His eyes roamed over my clothes.

“ Aren't you doing much? Hmph” he snicke
