Getting rid of

Ryan's POV

If I hadn't fallen in love enough with her, I did at that very moment, when I held the phone, leaning it straight while I tried to take a picture with them all inside.

Nina’s face held a smile that stretched to the edge of her lips, her eyes sparkled as she stared at me.

I found myself inching never to watch that smile fade.

“ We should all take one together” her mother uttered, stunning me.

I obliged, holding the phone just enough to take a selfie and when I captured that moment, I sealed it in my heart, promising never to have anything dent the life that I had now, or I was going to.

“We can drop you off at the hangar if you don't mind” I summoned up the mildest tone I could find to talk to her mother

I had always been tough and rough, but she was willing to accept me, so I thought that I would do the same.

“ Don't.” She dissuaded me. “ Your house is different from where I am headed, and…” her eyes slanted at me.
