Snow howled in response, keeping herself before Markus's wolf. He surely didn't like it so he stepped forward and stood beside Snow, nudging her with his snout.

"Yes, he's my mate. I wanted to tell you about it but I was trying to digest the idea myself so I didn't know how to tell you. Can you please stop this now?" I requested and his wolf stared at us for a few seconds before he shifted back into his original form.

Taking that as a sign, I shifted back with Markus and the three of us looked at each other, the atmosphere of the foyer dense enough to choke me. Eva and Lucien stayed away from the scene, watching us without making any noise.

My heart clenched at the sight of hurt in Sean's eyes. I didn't want things to happen this way.

"I…I know what I did was wrong. But to be honest, I was never sure about our relationship in the first place." I said and he looked up at me. "I used to ask you if we are a thing and you always avoided my question which made me think that you are

EVANGELINELucien took me back to his room, despite me telling him that I should be returning to my room because I didn't have any decent clothes on except his baggy shirt and pants. After the scene in the foyer, I started to notice the soreness between my thighs and a yawn escaped my lips. I rubbed my eyes with my knuckles as Lucien opened the door to his room and we walked inside. He walked over to the window and pushed the curtains to let the sunlight enter the room. I looked around and observed the wooden paneled walls. The room had a minimalistic approach and there was not much furniture except the bed and a desk. "I don't like to keep much here. I keep breaking furniture whenever I get angry." Lucien spoke as if he read my thoughts and I smiled. "Talk about anger issues." I mocked and he rolled his eyes. "Wait here." He said and walked out of the room. I crossed my legs on the bed and looked down at the crumpled bed sheet. The image of him fucking me on this made heat crawl

EVANGELINEMy skin looked like it had taken a new life. It was glowing and my eyes were a gradient of purple and red. I did so much skincare and that never satisfied me yet I just fed on one soul and I looked like a shining pearl. "The souls increase our strength and our external features." Crystal explained."So if I keep feeding on souls, then I'll gain more power?" I asked and she nodded. "Yes. Demonic wolves are known to be so powerful and have high senses because of this. We feed on souls and it heightens everything." "That's so cool." I whirled my head to face Lucien who was staring at me and pointed at my face, "Look, I'm glowing." He stepped forward and cupped my face gently, "You are beautiful no matter what. You have always pulled me in like a magnet with your internal and external beauty." I blushed at his words. "It seems like you ate some cheese-" I stopped when I saw his eyes glaze over as if he was talking to someone through the link. When he snapped out of it, hi

EVANGELINE"We can't stay still. Whatever is out there fighting our people feels dangerous." Mia said and clenched her hand. Just after Mom told me about the attack, Mia found us and it seemed that she had the same feeling. Since we were linked to our pack, it was obvious to catch the emotions of our people. "Markus went with Lucien to meet the Order. This is a good chance for us to step out." She said and I looked at the space ahead, Lucien's words echoing in my head. "Lucien warned me to not step out of the packhouse because we are prone to attacks from the Emerald Gem pack. I know he's right, but staying here won't help either." We heard footsteps and saw David and Sean walking towards us. We were in the hallway and I was sure that they had felt it too. Sean had a glum look on his face as he spoke, "I contacted Lora." He looked down, "We are losing the battle. Seems like whoever is fighting against is way more powerful than Alpha Dark and Beta Sky. If it goes any longer, I don'

EVANGELINEI couldn't control my hunger. I held my throat to stop myself, but the urge to feed kept rising. If this continued, I wouldn't be able to save my family. Azazel laughed, "What a sight to behold! You have a unique personality, Miss Dark. I'd love to use that to my advantage." He said and I felt the air pressing on my body. But the pressure quickly decreased and I looked at my side to find Mom creating a barrier. She had a fierce look on her face as she spoke, "Stay away from my family." But it didn't seem to waver Azazel's confidence as his smile stayed intact. "Aw, that's rude, Mrs. Dark." His red eyes glowed and long black whip-like structures emerged out of his palms, lashing at the barrier. Mom's face hardened as she focused her strength into keeping that barrier intact, but it seemed that the whiplashes were breaking the walls. "Run away. Both of you. I'll handle him!" She said but I didn't move. I couldn't leave dad and mom alone here. Above that, my head was spin

EVANGELINEI screamed in joy when I realized that I had shifted. I had finally shifted! I couldn’t believe this! “Yes! Now I can finally breathe!” Crystal yelled and inhaled the fresh air. She looked at the army of wolves who had stopped when they saw me. Azazel looked taken aback by my transformation. Crystal growled at the wolves, challenging them to come at us. Azazel was wrong. I wasn’t Lucien’s weakness. I was his strength. He may have lost a ton of his men, but today I would act as if I was equal to a thousand wolves. “You don’t listen, do you?” Lucien spoke from the back and I felt his hand on my fur, caressing it. “Well, no. I don’t even listen to dad.” I retorted. He was going to get an earful from me later on. What the hell did he think of me? I wasn’t some damsel in distress who needed to be protected. Even if I had died today, I would have still fought for him. “You are beautiful.” He whispered against our fur and Crystal nudged his face with her snout. “You two are

MIA“She is so pretty. I love your hair. ” I commented and Dayna smiled. “I recently dyed it. Last time it was platinum blonde.” She said, brushing her hair once and my eyes glittered. She had an intimidating aura but had a calm personality. Before walking out of the cell, I kicked Sean and David on their asses and they both jolted upright. Sean’s hair was all over his face as he panted for air. “What happened? Did we die?” “Not yet.” Dad said and Sean and David exchanged glances before getting up. “Who is she?” David pointed at Dayna, glaring at her. He probably caught on her demonic aura. “We can do the introductions later. Time is running out.” Dayna said in a serious tone and we walked in a line down the hall of the dimly lit dungeon. Two cloaked figures rounded the corner and approached us. I was about to attack them but then I caught on a familiar scent. “Jan!” Dad shouted and ran up to the cloaked figure, enveloping mom in a hug. The hood fell off her face and mom hugged

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   Epilogue

LUCIEN I made sure everything was close to perfection. This day was extremely special since Eva and I were finally getting…married. We had been staying together like staying in a live-in-relationship after I confessed my feelings for her, but that wasn’t enough for both of us. I knew deep down that I wanted to start…a family? The word didn’t sit well with me. I wasn’t ready to share Eva with anyone yet. Call me selfish or whatever. I didn’t care. I wasn’t interested in being friends with her pack either. But if those people made her happy, then I was willing to act like I liked them. And that was why there was so much noise inside the hall of my packhouse. There were so many fucking people and none of them could keep their mouth shut for once! I swear if they weren’t excited for our wedding, I would have shoved all of them into the dungeon. “Need a drink?” Markus asked as he stood beside me in a black tuxedo. “I’m fine,” I said, my face contorted in a scowl. “I don’t want to

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   76 : The She Devil

EVANGELINEI took a deep breath before entering the large hall where everyone was waiting for me. Today I was going to get crowned as the ruler of the three realms. After we destroyed the Order and Azazel, peace was brought back to not just the Underworld but even the Earth and the heavens. Our pack house was destroyed so dad had to rebuild it from scratch. Initially, it was painful to see the house which held all our memories being replaced but as time went by, we realized that the house itself didn't matter. It was our memories that kept it alive. So we all worked together to build a new home where we would create new memories. We had help from the Underworld as well as the Emerald Gem pack and in a month, we had a brand new packhouse with better facilities. Even the training grounds were improved and we established a camp for any refugees from different realms who had been casted out of their pack. The entire process was a lot like therapy. The scars I had from my past experienc

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   75 : Goddess Of Three Realms

EVANGELINELatsyrc? Wasn’t it the name of the Goddess of the three realms? But why did she call me that? Or was she calling someone else? “Eva!” I heard Lucien’s voice and snapped back into reality. My eyes fluttered open and I saw a pair of beautiful emerald eyes staring back at me with concern. “Fuck!” He said and embraced me in a tight hug. What…happened? I thought I was dead and in heaven. I guess heaven rejected my application because of all the smut I read. “Luc…are you okay?” My voice sounded hoarse as I asked, feeling his warmth engulf me. Well, this was no less than heaven. “You pulled me out of his mind control,” Lucien whispered and I remembered something from the strange dream I had. I looked down at his shoulder and my jaw dropped when I saw my mark on him. Did I really mark him?!! “I never thought it would happen this way. You are always full of surprises, my sweet Eva and Crystal.” He said and kissed my neck and Crystal howled in happiness as her name was finally t

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   74 : Union

EVANGELINEI sighed in relief as I saw my sexy man standing like a king on the aisle, his eyes glowing with rage. I was worried that something had happened to him and when I saw the cuts and bruises on his body, I realized that he was fighting Azazel. Calhoun scoffed, “Couldn’t you have waited a little longer? I would have married her by then and you could have enjoyed the wedding cake. So impatient.” Lucien narrowed his eyes and I felt his aura get more intense as he said, “Oh, but I do have some gifts for you. Want to see?” He raised his hand and a dark sparkling globe appeared on top of his palm. He charged the globe straight at Calhoun who dodged it, but when the globe hit the raised platform it bursted like an atom bomb, throwing both of us to the other side of the church. I had squinted my eyes in fear and when I opened them, I saw Lucien holding me in his arms. I could finally feel my arms and legs. Oh thank the Goddess. Or maybe the Demon King. “Sorry I got late. That bast
