EVANGELINE

Hera stepped out of her walk-in closet, holding some clothes in her hand, and cheered with delight. "Oh, look at her! She already likes you!" she exclaimed with a bright smile, her light green eyes twinkling.

I hesitated, my heart pounding with fear as I gazed upon the King Cobra before me. Its long, slender body undulated as it hissed, its black eyes boring into me with a menacing intensity. I couldn't help but wonder if it held any animosity towards me, as its gaze seemed to linger just a bit too long. My mouth dry and my palms sweating, I nervously muttered "I don't know... does it really?"

“Come here, baby. Don’t disturb her,” Hera cooed and fearlessly gathered the King Cobra in her arms, wrapping it around her body like a scarf, as if she knew that it would not hurt her. She handed me two tops with a smile and said, "Here. You can choose whichever you like. I hope you'll like them." Her eyes glowed with confidence and admiration as she looked at the snake in her arms.

EVANGELINEMia's words had startled me and left me wondering–Had she suspected something that made her assume Lucien had harmed me? He had indeed spanked me but, even though I wish I could deny it, I had allowed it to happen because I had been longing for it. His grasp around my throat was strong yet not so intense that it could choke me to death. I shook my head, my mind filled with questions as I asked Mia, "Do you think he would have survived and seen another day if he had abused me in any way?" Her lips pressed together in a tight line as she contemplated, then slowly she nodded her head.I asked her in concern, noting that her complexion had taken on a pallor, though the usual fire in her eyes still burned brightly. "Leave it be," I urged. "Are you alright?"I sniffed the air and the bridge of my nose immediately pinched as the smell of vomit wafted over me. "I'm fine," Mia said, her voice a bit strained. "I just puked a little."“Can tell,” I gave her a gentle nod and tenderly

EVANGELINE“Where are we going?” I asked. “The place where I can dig your graves,” Lucien retorted. “I thought you said you wanted us alive.” He uttered the words, "I can change my mind whenever I want", and I let out an exasperated sigh, feeling the heavy manacles on my wrists and neck. I could sense Lucien's eyes on me, and when I glanced in his direction, he quickly averted his gaze.“Are they too tight?” He asked the question suddenly and I stared at him in astonishment, taken aback that he was even concerned about the metal bonds that kept me in captivity. I had expected indifference, or maybe even mockery, but instead he seemed to be genuinely concerned about my comfort. My skin prickled as I felt the cold iron of the manacles against my wrists. The metal dug into my skin, sending an agonizing pain through my body, yet I refused to show any sign of my discomfort. A deep sigh escaped his lips, stirring the stagnant air around us.I let out a gasp of shock as I felt his warm ha

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   29 : A Little Bit Of Paradise

LUCIENOnce I had slain the neon dogs of the Emerald Gem pack, my gaze drifted to Evangeline, who appeared to have freed herself from Crusty, my trusty jeep. She seemed to be attempting to take advantage of the situation and make a break for it, scouring the area for an escape route.Stupid girl. This was my pack, my domain. I knew it like the back of my hand and I could spot her in a heartbeat if she tried to escape. I had anticipated the Emerald Gem Pack to pull something to get their hands on Evangeline, so when Darin mentioned the strike, I realized it was an ambush. Nevertheless, I needed to travel to the spot to apprehend those neon dogs and ensnare one of those angels to interrogate them. I brought Evangeline along with me because she wouldn't have been secure by herself in the pack house. Some of my men had been drooling over her and I planned to rip off their heads once I was done with this.As I trudged through the smoky haze, her figure gradually came into focus. She stoo

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   30 : Slave Or Death

EVANGELINEOnce I returned to the pack house, Mia and I was dragged back to the dungeon and the atmosphere between us was thick with tension. Mia gave me a withering glare, and I felt the stifling sensation of the air constricting around me. Her arms were crossed firmly across her chest, and the shame that weighed on me was like a coarse blanket, leaving me feeling rigid and unable to look her in the eye.“I—” "Seriously Eva?" She began, her voice was shrill, seemingly unconcerned if anyone outside heard our conversation. "I'm not trying to pass judgment, you know I'm not like that. I get that he's attractive, but is it worth sacrificing your self-respect?" Her words cut like a knife, her tone harsh.I pursed my lips, feeling the sting of shame, regret, and uncertainty. She had been right all along, and I realized that it had not been a mistake that the kiss had happened. I had been as much a participant in it as he had, and when he pulled away, my senses came back to me. Rather than

LUCIEN“We are not going to do shit for you!” Sean began his customary morning ritual of attempting to seem macho by challenging me. I sighed in monotony, tired of his tired antics. The motherfucker, who stood beside him, seemed to encourage him, but they could only bark futilely as I had my men encircling the dungeon. I had a look of boredom as I asked, "Have we really got to go through this all again? You keep defying me, so I break your bones, and then they heal and I break them again. Is this really worth all the time it's taking?"I had commanded them to clean the entirety of the dungeons, though I could not fathom why it was such a difficult task. I had given them ample warning, and I could have easily enforced a far more severe punishment, had they not complied. David spoke this time, his voice full of determination. "'Think whatever you want, you can't turn us into your workers," he declared. The boys' voices rose in a cacophony of protest, while the girls remained eerily qu

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   32 : Care

EVANGELINE moaned as he thrust his two digits inside me mercilessly, the sound of my juices slapping profound in the room. At that point, I couldn’t think straight and all I felt was climbing up the hill of my first orgasm. He curled his fingers inside my pussy, hitting the right spot. Before I could scream in pleasure, he sealed my lips with a kiss while he kept fingering me and I moaned inside his mouth feeling all the pent-up pleasure release between my clenched walls. I panted for air as he broke the kiss, my hair sticking to my face and neck. The short pleasure he gave me was something I had never experienced before, even if he was just fingering me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before opening them to find him bringing his fingers close to his lips and sucking them. “Fuck,” his voice sounded somewhere between a growl and a groan. The sight of him licking his fingers as if he was licking the best thing in his life made my core clench again. When my senses returned,

EVANGELINEThe creature in front of me had just uttered the words, "Evangeline Dark. You must die," and its claws were outstretched, ready to attack. I felt a sharp pain in my back as I was seized from behind and I had to act quickly. I gritted my teeth and with a powerful twist, I broke free from the hold of the creature behind me. I mustered up all of my strength and quickly kicked the one in front of me. The creature stumbled back and I could see that it was knocked off balance.I had thought I would be able to battle on, but it was my biggest blunder. The throbbing in my skull cascaded down to my veins, and my body began to feel as rigid as a sculpture. I attempted to wiggle my arms and legs, yet nothing happened. A tremor of fear swept through me, my heart thumping and my respiration coming in quick, shallow pants.I heard the familiar voice bellow, "Get off her!" In an instant, Lucien was there, and with a speed, I had never seen before, he killed both creatures in the blink of

LUCIEN I trudged back to my office after grappling with the corpses of the angels, my mind spinning with the events of the day. Chaos was my standard, yet this day had been particularly tumultuous. As I had suspected, the Emerald Gem pack had somehow infiltrated Hollow Hills, and had been aided by an unknown party. Those filthy bastards had the nerve to burst into my laboratory and toss Dole potions at me. The Dole potion had been brewed by a witch to inflict harm on demons. My body ached from the physical exertion, and my head throbbed from the onslaught of the onslaught of emotions. I wearily dropped into the chair behind my desk, sighing as I sank into the familiar chair. I had been drinking that same Dole potion every day for years, just a small amount, and my body eventually became immune to the burning effects. Still, I was determined to train hard and make sure my weaknesses didn't remain weaknesses. Through my hard work and dedication, I slowly but surely overcame those wea

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   Epilogue

LUCIEN I made sure everything was close to perfection. This day was extremely special since Eva and I were finally getting…married. We had been staying together like staying in a live-in-relationship after I confessed my feelings for her, but that wasn’t enough for both of us. I knew deep down that I wanted to start…a family? The word didn’t sit well with me. I wasn’t ready to share Eva with anyone yet. Call me selfish or whatever. I didn’t care. I wasn’t interested in being friends with her pack either. But if those people made her happy, then I was willing to act like I liked them. And that was why there was so much noise inside the hall of my packhouse. There were so many fucking people and none of them could keep their mouth shut for once! I swear if they weren’t excited for our wedding, I would have shoved all of them into the dungeon. “Need a drink?” Markus asked as he stood beside me in a black tuxedo. “I’m fine,” I said, my face contorted in a scowl. “I don’t want to

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   76 : The She Devil

EVANGELINEI took a deep breath before entering the large hall where everyone was waiting for me. Today I was going to get crowned as the ruler of the three realms. After we destroyed the Order and Azazel, peace was brought back to not just the Underworld but even the Earth and the heavens. Our pack house was destroyed so dad had to rebuild it from scratch. Initially, it was painful to see the house which held all our memories being replaced but as time went by, we realized that the house itself didn't matter. It was our memories that kept it alive. So we all worked together to build a new home where we would create new memories. We had help from the Underworld as well as the Emerald Gem pack and in a month, we had a brand new packhouse with better facilities. Even the training grounds were improved and we established a camp for any refugees from different realms who had been casted out of their pack. The entire process was a lot like therapy. The scars I had from my past experienc

EVANGELINELatsyrc? Wasn’t it the name of the Goddess of the three realms? But why did she call me that? Or was she calling someone else? “Eva!” I heard Lucien’s voice and snapped back into reality. My eyes fluttered open and I saw a pair of beautiful emerald eyes staring back at me with concern. “Fuck!” He said and embraced me in a tight hug. What…happened? I thought I was dead and in heaven. I guess heaven rejected my application because of all the smut I read. “Luc…are you okay?” My voice sounded hoarse as I asked, feeling his warmth engulf me. Well, this was no less than heaven. “You pulled me out of his mind control,” Lucien whispered and I remembered something from the strange dream I had. I looked down at his shoulder and my jaw dropped when I saw my mark on him. Did I really mark him?!! “I never thought it would happen this way. You are always full of surprises, my sweet Eva and Crystal.” He said and kissed my neck and Crystal howled in happiness as her name was finally t

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   74 : Union

EVANGELINEI sighed in relief as I saw my sexy man standing like a king on the aisle, his eyes glowing with rage. I was worried that something had happened to him and when I saw the cuts and bruises on his body, I realized that he was fighting Azazel. Calhoun scoffed, “Couldn’t you have waited a little longer? I would have married her by then and you could have enjoyed the wedding cake. So impatient.” Lucien narrowed his eyes and I felt his aura get more intense as he said, “Oh, but I do have some gifts for you. Want to see?” He raised his hand and a dark sparkling globe appeared on top of his palm. He charged the globe straight at Calhoun who dodged it, but when the globe hit the raised platform it bursted like an atom bomb, throwing both of us to the other side of the church. I had squinted my eyes in fear and when I opened them, I saw Lucien holding me in his arms. I could finally feel my arms and legs. Oh thank the Goddess. Or maybe the Demon King. “Sorry I got late. That bast

  • Chasing The Dark Luna   73 : An Unwanted Marriage

MIAI was able to stop the asshole from using his mind control, making the rest who were under his spell snap out of it. Markus’s wolf shook its head as it came back to reality and Sean’s wolf froze mid air when it realized that it was going to charge itself on its luna and dropped onto the floor. Lol, that was funny. Sean immediately got up and bowed to aunt Avery. I guess he was saying sorry for his actions. David, on the other hand, changed his direction of attack and went straight towards Aston who was fighting dad. I mind linked with Markus, “I will go get the dagger. Take care of this situation.” I didn’t wait for his response as I kicked Simon’s unconscious body to the side and ran towards the door. “Wait.” Markus spoke in my head and before I could break the door with sheer force, he jumped first and broke the door. He stood at the other end of the broken door and looked at me, “Leave the wrecking stuff to me.” I wanted to retort but since we had no time, I ran ahead with

MIA“She is so pretty. I love your hair. ” I commented and Dayna smiled. “I recently dyed it. Last time it was platinum blonde.” She said, brushing her hair once and my eyes glittered. She had an intimidating aura but had a calm personality. Before walking out of the cell, I kicked Sean and David on their asses and they both jolted upright. Sean’s hair was all over his face as he panted for air. “What happened? Did we die?” “Not yet.” Dad said and Sean and David exchanged glances before getting up. “Who is she?” David pointed at Dayna, glaring at her. He probably caught on her demonic aura. “We can do the introductions later. Time is running out.” Dayna said in a serious tone and we walked in a line down the hall of the dimly lit dungeon. Two cloaked figures rounded the corner and approached us. I was about to attack them but then I caught on a familiar scent. “Jan!” Dad shouted and ran up to the cloaked figure, enveloping mom in a hug. The hood fell off her face and mom hugged

EVANGELINEI screamed in joy when I realized that I had shifted. I had finally shifted! I couldn’t believe this! “Yes! Now I can finally breathe!” Crystal yelled and inhaled the fresh air. She looked at the army of wolves who had stopped when they saw me. Azazel looked taken aback by my transformation. Crystal growled at the wolves, challenging them to come at us. Azazel was wrong. I wasn’t Lucien’s weakness. I was his strength. He may have lost a ton of his men, but today I would act as if I was equal to a thousand wolves. “You don’t listen, do you?” Lucien spoke from the back and I felt his hand on my fur, caressing it. “Well, no. I don’t even listen to dad.” I retorted. He was going to get an earful from me later on. What the hell did he think of me? I wasn’t some damsel in distress who needed to be protected. Even if I had died today, I would have still fought for him. “You are beautiful.” He whispered against our fur and Crystal nudged his face with her snout. “You two are
