There was no way Cannon would be trapped in the little mess she created. He had enough power and resources to get free from this in no moment. Elaine thought as she waited for the call to be answered.

"Hello?"

A deep male voice got into her hearing and she spoke up slowly, "Hello, Sir. It's Elaine here."

"Elaine, who?"

She explained, "I met you two days ago and complained about a man who was stalking me and you gave me your card."

"Oh, yeah. I remember. What's the problem? Is there anyone else bothering you?" hearing him, she immediately answered, "No. Sorry for disturbing you but I wanted to ask about the person I complained. He is released already, right?"

"No. He is still in lock-up. You don't need to worry about that."

"Yes. No one came for him yet."
