“I am crazy! You’re the only one I want, and I don’t want anyone else,” Theodore said desperately. “Since you don’t want me, then leave!”

“You didn’t want me first!” Rosalie yelled indignantly.

“I’ve already apologized and admitted my mistake, but you’re not coming back to me! What can I do?” he argued.

“How can I forgive you for a mistake like this? I can’t go back to you just because you said sorry!” she snapped.

“At the end of the day, we still can’t be together and you don’t want me!” he shot back.

Theodore didn’t care that he was acting shamelessly.

Rosalie stood outside the door, her forehead leaning against the door as she sighed.

She still couldn’t leave just like that. She had known him for ten years, and although things ended in a bitter divorce, she couldn’t just put down their decade-long relationship. She wasn’t a robot that could coldly adhere to its program and to whatever the program dictated.
