“Good morning,” Brian greeted the moment he stepped into the office. I glanced up at him and took note of his dressing pattern. “You have your seat.” At least he knew proper etiquette. He sat, splaying his arms on his thighs as he looked up at me.

“I'm sorry the notice came late to meet. Bishop has been busy with taking care of some things and I didn't get the time to talk to you.” I apologized first.
