Her Limit

General

Jasmine wrapped her arms around the doctor's neck as their kissing intensified. Jumping, she encircled her legs around his waist, and slowly they moved to the bed, where they made out quickly.

"Do you think the woman will agree to give you her kidney?" The doctor asked, wiping the beads of sweat that were shrouding his forehead and breathing erratically.

Jasmine rolled her eyes, adjusting her hospital gown. She smirked, "It's not like she has a choice. She is so desperate to have Ryan that she is ready to do anything. And even if she declines, Ryan is going to force her to do it. He doesn't joke with me," Jasmine bragged, earning a light chuckle from the doctor.

"What do you intend to do with her kidney? We both know that you are healthy," he asked in a calm tone.

"I don't know. Perhaps flush it in the toilet or throw it in the river. Even if I were in need of a kidney, you don't think I would accept a kidney from a pathetic filth like her, do you?" Jasmine scoffed and eyed the doctor badly when she saw the positive reaction he was giving. "You got to be joking, man. I would rather die than accept her kidney. Who knows the kind of dirt she must have eaten? I am just trying to show her where she belongs. I want to prove to her that Ryan loves me so much and wouldn't mind killing her just to save me."

With a sheepish smile, the doctor stood up from the bed, fully dressed. "I have done my part of the deal, Jasmine," he let out, putting the stethoscope around his neck.

"And I have done mine too. You wanted my pussy, and I have given that to you," Jasmine responded, winking seductively.

The doctor smiled and shook his head. "Well, you are still going to ride me one more time for the next job. You still need someone to lie to your boyfriend, Ryan," he said.

Jasmine folded her arms and rolled her eyes. "Aargh! That's one of the things I'm good at. So that should be the least of your worries," Jasmine assured him with a smile before sprawling back on the bed so that he could fix the IV drips back.

Meanwhile, Ryan stormed into the house and shouted, "Lexi! Lexi!! Where the hell are you?" Anger was vivid in his eyes, and his hoarse voice sent chills all over the house.

Emily rushed out of her room, climbing down the stairs. "The bastard is in her room. You need to listen to what she did to Mother today. That woman is a witch. She has bewitched grandmother," Emily clamored on, fueling the fire that was already burning.

Ignoring what Emily was saying, Ryan scurried upstairs and barged into Lexi's room. She was sleeping when he got inside.

In her sleep, Lexi could hear her name from the distant. Even though it was far, she could discern that the person calling her was furious, which prompted her to open her eyes the same time Ryan walked in.

"Fine, you have succeeded in leaving the police station earlier than I had planned, but there's something you have to do. You must do it," Ryan blurted; he cared less that she was just waking up. It was none of his business. All he was after was to take Lexi to the hospital and get one of her kidneys out for his beloved.

He rushed to Lexi, who was scrunching her face and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, snatched her hand, and jerked her up suddenly. She was taken aback, confused by what was happening.

"What is it? What do you want me to do?" She asked with widened eyes.

"Don't ask questions, Lexi. Just do as I have ordered. Follow me right now," Ryan growled in her face, angered that she had the audacity to look into his eyes and ask questions. She was the criminal, the orchestrator of Jasmine's problem, so she didn't have the right to ask questions.

Lexi jerked her hands away and took a few steps backward. "Why should I follow you? Don't tell me that you want to take me back to the cops custody. How else do you want to tell me that I didn't do it? I didn't fucking do what Jasmine accused me of doing," she shouted, her eyes glistening with pain and unshed tears. She was hurting. It hurt that the man she had lived with for three years still didn't know what she was capable of doing. Yes, she loved him, but she wasn't desperate.

"Will you shut the crab, Lexi? Shut the fuck up before I shut it for you. How dare you raise your voice at me?" Ryan barked, spitting in her face. The duo pierced each other's eyes. As Lexi peeked into his eyes, it broke her heart to find nothing but indescribable hatred and disgust. She found pains too, and she was certain that it was for her. It was for Jasmine, who was pretending to be badly hurt.

With a stern and fierce gaze, she affirmed in a croaky voice, "I am not leaving this place without knowing where you are taking me to. I need to know, Ryan. I will not move an inch if you don't tell me what you are planning to do with me. You don't need to bother if you planned on taking me back to their custody. Grandmother will bail me out as many times as you do," she stated clearly, unblinking.

Frustrated, Ryan stared at her for a few seconds, blinked, and turned with his fingers running through his hair. "Arrgh!" He punched the air frustratingly. He hated that he was about to respond to Lexi. That wasn't supposed to happen. She was supposed to be terrified and do everything he asked her to do because she was the evil one. She was the criminal who pushed Jasmine into the pull.

But he had no choice. If that would make her follow him to the hospital and save his beloved, he was ready to answer her.

"You need to give Jasmine one of your kidneys," he simply said, looking into Lexi's eyes.

For a few seconds, Lexi stared back unblinkingly. Then she blinked and erupted into a peal of laughter.

"What the fuck are you saying? That's a joke, right?" She muttered in between her laughs, but that only got Ryan annoyed.

"What the hell is funny about the statement I just made? I am not joking, Lexi. You have to follow me right now and give one of your kidneys to Jasmine," he blurted out in a clear and stern tone.

Abruptly, Lexi's laughter stopped and was replaced with a frown and an unwavering expression. She asked, "And why should I do that? Why should I give your concubine one of my kidneys?"

"Lexi!!!" Ryan screamed, exasperated. His veins puked out of his skin as he suppressed the anger surging within him. He had warned her severally never to call Jasmine a concubine. Shutting his eyes, he breathed deeply in and out and opened his eyes back. "Let's not argue over nothing, Lexi. Just follow me and do what you have to do. It's nothing big," he said, earning a squinty expression from Lexi.

She had just heard the funniest joke of her life. "And that must be a joke, Ryan. It's not a big deal? You want me to give Jasmine one of my kidneys, and you think it's not a big deal?" She eyed him from the head to toes and continued, "What was I expecting from a man who placed his concubine over his legally married wife? You don't even care if I die in the process. What if I died? What if I never made it out alive? What if my only kidney fails in the future?" She shouted. She had finally allowed the anger hovering around her to dominate her fully. She has had enough of Ryan and his family.

"Lexi, follow me while I am being nice," Ryan let out in a terrifying, chilly voice, which sent cold down Lexi's back.

She scoffed, "As if you can even force me to do what I don't want to do. Do you even think about Isabelle? Who will take care of her if I die in the process? Why are you so selfish? All you could think about is that pretender. I refuse to give anyone my kidney. Let her die. I wish she could just die and stop causing chaos in my marriage," she barked, her eyes bloodshot and her veins popping out of her skin.

"Lexi!" Ryan shouted, raised his hand, and struck Lexi's right cheek with it. "Watch your tongue. Do not let me unleash the demon you wouldn't want to see," he warned, pointing a finger at her.

A burning, stinging sensation traveled around Lexi's body, forcing her to close her eyes and swirl her tongue over her lips. She opened her and scoffed, "This is the second time you will be slapping me because of her. You hit me because of her, Ryan."

"And I will make it a third and fourth time if you don't watch what you say. I don't care about your life, Lexi. You are insignificant to me. I don't care about Isabelle either. I have always known she's a bastard, but her cute eyes wouldn't want me to treat her like one. I don't care about anyone but Jasmine, so get things straight and follow me to the hospital, right?"

Before he could finish his statement, Lexi lifted her hand and smacked him hard on the face. Her gaze was unwavering and fierce. "Don't you dare call my daughter a bastard, Ryan?" she growled, expressionlessly. "That's the limit. You can call me whatever you want, but don't ever near Isabelle," she deadpanned in a raspy timbre.

Ryan's brows snapped. "Did you just slap me?" He mumbled coldly.

Instead of responding to him, Lexi hissed and scurried to her wardrobe and brought out a brown envelope.

Recognizing the envelope, Ryan's eyes broadened, and he growled, "What are you trying to do?"

"What does it look like? I am giving you what you've always wanted. I am signing the divorce papers now," she answered, removing the papers from the envelope.

"I will divorce you, as you've always wanted. You don't need to wait any longer."
