SEKANI:

"Don't apply too much concealer. I need my makeup sleek and moderate. None of that bridal nonsense." I demanded, whilst looking down at Mya who had just walked into the room with her babysitter.

They were both dressed beautifully in the gown I'd gotten for them. Mya had a snow white dress and her hair was gelled and tied up with a pale blue ribbon which was one of the wedding themes.

As for her babysitter, she wore a pale blue dress and a jacket that clung to her side and paid with low-heeled pumps. She looked quite stressed and that was because she'd been the one to take care of Mya for the whole of this week, nonstop. Thankfully, she was a single lady. I was already starting to consider hiring her as a full-time nanny and having her move into the house.

"Mum, why am I not the little bride?" She asked, her expression sullen. "Today is your wedding. I should be the little bride. And also, I don't know who you're getting married to."
