He lied again

Liam jumped up from his bed when he heard Scarlett screaming. She was lying with her back on the bed, face up and her eyes were open which meant that she was not having a nightmare.

“What's wrong with you? Are you trying to bring the whole place down?” Liam asked her, his voice still groggy from sleep. He could not remember when he last slept all through the night or even dreamt while at it but he did so last night. Scarlett just had to disrupt his sleep when the dream he was having was getting to the good part.

Scarlett turned her head to the side to stare at him and her eyes widened even more when she saw that he was the one beside her.

“What's wrong with me? Are you serious right now?” she asked incredulously, “What in heaven's name am I doing here and with you in bed with me?”

Liam could already see the wheels rolling in her head and panic setting in especially when she looked down and saw that she was not wearing the clothes she wore to work yesterday.
