“Where did you send my driver to again?” Scarlett asked, her voice was cold and she refused to meet his eyes.

“I did not send your driver anywhere. I was not the one that sent him away yesterday”

“And you expect e to believe you?” he was a fucking lair and his action last night proved it. He had promised that he would take her home and she believed him but he didn’t. She had tried not to think about it all day because she felt stupid for believing him.

“Why don't you try and call him, see if he would pick up or if his number will go through? Don't forget to call your bodyguard while at it” Liam folded his legs at the ankle and slouched back against the hood of his car.

“I dismissed the bodyguard from working me with long ago,” Scarlett said as she turned away to fish for her phone in her purse to call the driver for the umpteenth time today.
