Aside from the feeling of embarrassment, I felt alive. I felt pure joy despite the odds against us. I knew what the future held but I wasn’t ready to accept what Mia Lu called fate.

Raiden will live.

I don’t know how but I’ll make sure my kids keep waking us up with kisses for many years to come. Katie was glowing and Kyle seemed to be less responsible which meant he was enjoying himself too.

“About time,” Iris snickered when she saw Raiden and I approaching with the kids.

I could pass for a very red tomato at this point. I was certain everyone in the pack already knew that Raiden and I spent the night together in the same hut and on the same bed. The elders might understand the need for the sudden change but Iris was just having fun.

To be honest, I never want her to know about my vision.
