When I reached the end of the road, hell; my father's house became my only option.

"I have nowhere else to go, Gwen. Just let me in." I pursed my lips unhappily and said.

She's standing by the doorway currently towering over me. She rarely showed any mercy. Her presence alone was enough to stir fear in me and counter any chance I could have had to get in.

Gwen threw her head back and laughed. "Sorry but that's impossible."

Her condescending eyes told me all I needed to know. The exact moment Evelyn brought her

When the call ended, I sank back against the swivel chair, and sighed heavily thinking I could finally get a minute to myself when the door opened, and my assistant walked into my mini-office with another pile of files. "Good morning, ma'am." She gave a deep bow by the door before heading over to drop the files on my desk. "Morning, Vivian. I believe that's all for today?" I acknowledged her greeting and I inserted my concern afterwards, my body and soul practically weeping as a result of the sleepless nights. My reality is like a daydream to me. I just had the quickest race ever from home to Austin's office. I couldn't wait to derive some explanation from him. Wait, don't tell me he knew about the contract's term from the start? He finally looked me in the eye. I could see the muscle in his face tighten as if he was holding back his emotions. "Look, it's all messed up. Why don't you drive back home? As per my crime, I won't put it past him to throw me in the hands of the police officers with immediate effect. It's scary how he's being humorous but he isn't taking it lightly either.
