*whistles innocently* Someone if falling....
The drive felt longer than usual since Dominic was not with me. I turned at Sky who was driving the car, while Jannet sat at the back, holding her bag on her lap. Until now, Sky had not spoken a thing and if he tried to annoy Jan, I would be rescue her.“Did Dominic have some pack work?” I asked and Sky remained silent for a few seconds before he responded.“To be honest, he is not in his best self today,” he said with a sigh and a frown settled on my forehead.“What happened?” I sat upright on the seat and waited for Sky to explain. He looked fine this morning.“Today is the date his parents died,” Sky said and my lips parted. Jan heard what he said at the back and she exchanged a look with me.“Oh my…he never spoke about it to me. Is he alright?” I asked in concern, my heart clenching at the thought of Dominic missing his parents.Sky shrugged while he rotated the steering wheel, “It is hard to tell. He looks fine outside, but every time this date comes, he turns sad and kind of iso
I felt terrible. Never did I thought that behind the stone cold face, there was a child who had gone through so much pain. And he survived it all. I couldn’t imagine myself surviving such amount of rejection. He looked back at me, “Let’s head bac—” he stopped when I embraced him in a hug. I was standing on my feet, holding his head close to my chest. My hand caressed his back and I could feel those hard muscles. Focus, Avery! “I am sorry for what happened,” I said, pain etched to my voice. I just couldn’t bring myself to imagine what he could have went through since he did not tell me the full story. Was all his past pain the reason he turned out so twisted? He did not speak, neither he hugged me back. His head just rested on my chest. We stayed like this for a few minutes, before I realized that it was too awkward and I let him go. He looked at me, amusement glinting in his eyes and a subtle hint of smile playing on his lips. I licked my dry lips and tucking my loose hair back on
My lips were swollen red without even wearing lipstick. You ask why? A certain someone kissed me for hours. Yes, hours! And I did not stop him. Because it felt good.I pressed the ice against my lips as they burned a little. He bit me hard, his canines pulling a little blood out of my lower lip. He did make up for it though, by licking it clean.“How’re your lips doing, love?” he asked while he sipped his tea. My eyes fell on his lips. I bit him back too, and he seemed to enjoy it too much. He even said, “I would keep this as your mark of love on my lips,” and his tongue had jutted out, wiping his blood clean. That was sexy, I wouldn’t deny it.A blush crept on my lips, turning my face hot like my lips and I wondered if I should put some ice on my face too. I hissed a little as the ice fell right over the little cut on my lower lip. He stared at me with his dark eyes before he rose from his chair and walked over to me.“Let me,” he forwarded his hand and I gave him the ice pack. He wra
The classes went as usual, boring me to death. Most of the time, I had my pen balancing over my nose while my mind thought about my relation dynamics with Dominic. My hand touched my lip and I could still feel his warm kiss on it.Things have changed. Could I deny my feelings for him anymore? I don’t think so. I gave into the kiss, not to mention, that I was the one who pulled him by his shirt collar.I was lucky since I was his mate. If it had been somebody else, I am sure they would have been ripped to shreds by now. Sighing, I looked over at my notebook, doodles of his name in different styles that were not so calligraphic flashing in front of me.I scrunched my nose. My handwriting was disgusting. I literally ruined his hot name.I also came to notice the fact, that I couldn’t get him out of my head. Time felt like it never passed, and I waited for the classes to end so that I could see him standing against his car in front of the gates. Dang, was this how deep attraction felt?It
The vest guy came closer to where I was tied and sat on his heels. His eyes scanned my body and there was lust in them. Disgusting! I flinched when I felt his rough hand touch my leg and rub on it.“Cute,” he said and I gritted my teeth. I tried to free my hands from the ropes but it did not help. I was stuck in here, with these people who were going to rape and then kill me. My heart pounded loudly against my chest.I had somehow, miraculously managed to tackle Rosie that day in the class. But how could I escape so many people? Especially when they are all werewolves. My body started to tremble as I felt the guy’s hand moving closer and closer to where my shorts were. My breathing turned labor and I felt like there was a drop in oxygen as my lungs felt restricted. No, no…I don’t want the same things to repeat. My head spun, sweat sliding below my top.“Doesn’t it feel good, sweetheart? I promise you will love it when I slide my dick inside you,” he said and I fought to keep my consci
Asphalt lounged on Derek first, and before Derek could even get the time to transform into his wolf form, Asphalt gets him. His canines pierce right into his arm and with one move, he tears his right arm away. Others including me cringe at the sigh, as blood gushes out of him and he screams.Asphalt tossed his torn hand in the air and opened his mouth wide. My jaw hung down when I witnessed in front of my eyes, Asphalt gulping down a whole werewolf hand as if it was his meal. I start to feel a little nauseous and watch anyway. The check-shirted guy transformed into his wolf form and so did the others including Rosie who all lunged at him at the same time. Oh my God! This was an unfair fight. One wolf against so many. But Asphalt just stood in his place and the sky crackled with thunder again and before my eyes, I watched as the huge wolves of different fur start to lose their colors and their fur seemed to seep inside their body, exposing their bones. Their bones started to crack and t
DOMINIC’S POV I stepped out of the car, straightened the wrinkles on my suit jacket and strutted towards the main door. I was close enough when my phone pinged. I fished out my phone and saw Sky’s message. Sky: Ping Pong. Ding Dong. Danger Alert. Location: The Black Corridor. I rolled my eyes. This idiot. He was lucky that he was useful else I would have ripped his head off. I walked down the stairs and turned to the curve that led to the back of the mansion where the Black Corridor was. A smirk lifted the corner of my lips when I remembered how kitten had entered through the back door. I was expecting her to come from the front, but my people were keeping their eyes on her and I was informed that she was walking into the Black Corridor. I had chose to use all black marble for it. It was just an interest. ‘The moon will be turning red soon.’ Asphalt’s voice came in my head and I hummed. I looked up at the sky, the white clouds draping the moon, under the black veil of the night.
So, I thought I could finish writing the next chapter and publish it quickly, but my body was giving up. So I decided to stop for now and take rest. I would have fekt bad if you all kept waiting and the update didn't come like I promised it, so I wrote this author's note. Also, for the ones who mention about the story ending abruptly and not answering questions, do not worry since: This is the first installement of the Chased Wolf series (yep, its a series *wink*) and there is the second volume that will be diving deeper into the story, introducing new conflicts and giving answers to all the questions. Once this volume is finished, I will take a break to work on the second installement before it gets live to read and enjoy. Also, would you all like the story character asthetics and their pics? Let me know in the comment Flying Kisses
SKY’S POV We had a funeral for Aisel after he… I blinked back the tears as I stared at the garden through the window. I hadn’t expected him to go away like that. If I had known, my words would have been different. I wanted to say I loved him and missed him and I forgive him. “Sky,” I smelled hot chocolate and turned behind to find my white chocolate holding a cup in her hand. She extended the cup towards me, the hot fumes touching my soaked cheeks. “Thanks lovely.” I said and took a sip from the cup. It tasted heavenly. Jannet was amazing at making hot chocolate and I was a fan of hot chocolate now. She took a seat beside me and rubbed my shoulder, “Wanna talk about it?” She had given me some space after dad passed away and told me she was here to talk if I wanted to. I couldn’t ask for a more understanding mate. It was her maturity which influenced me to a great extent and Silver had told me how he I was slowly changing into a more responsible man. Was I? I didn’t know. But I wa
JANNET’S POVDuring the wedding celebrations, I felt Sky’s constant gaze on me. I slowly looked at him and was met with his blue eyes eye-fucking me. If his gaze could burn clothes, I would have been naked by now.Avery danced with the Alpha and Sky walked towards me. He looked hot in a black blazer over his black turtle-neck top. He leaned down and whispered, “I should have paid the priest to get us married here too.”I blushed and tugged the ends of his blazer to straighten it. His face hardened a little, “I will be waiting for you outside the gates once the party is over.”“Okay.” I was excited to meet him. After Avery finished her dance with the Alpha, one of the warriors played Shape of You and a lot of them joined the dance floor, showing off their moves.Avery ran over to me and pulled me in a hug. She had freed her legs from the heels and was bare feet. “Goddess, they hurt.” She said and I wrapped an arm around her shoulder, watching everyone dance to the beats.“You wanna dan

That aside, this book is going to take you in one hell of a ride with more supernatural creatures, lots of steamy scenes and a lot more. It will be released most probably in the beginning of February. If you are following me on Goodnovel, you will be notified when the book is r
AVERY’S POV I couldn’t move, I was too tired. Before my eyes closed, the last I remembered was the doctors pulling out the baby. I wanted to smile and get a look, but my vision was blurry. When I fluttered my eyes open, I was resting on a hospital bed. In the corner of the room, I saw Dominic leaning against the wall. His eyes looked puffy and red as if he had cried before this. What happened? “The baby!” I sat up and an excruciating pain shot through my back. Dominic came to my side and made me lean back on the bed. I looked at him, “Dom…the baby…” “Hush, calm down. You just woke up. Take some rest.” his eyes held no expression, they were blank. Why was he behaving like this? His behavior scared me. There was a certain emptiness in my heart that I couldn’t comprehend. “Dom. Where is the baby?” I asked, the impatience clear in my voice. I just wanted to see my child. Was that too much to ask? Dominic did not respond and turned his back on me. He approached a crib on the other
DOMINIC’S POVAvery slowly sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck. She looked nervous.“And smells different.” Asphalt added.I frowned and pulled her closer to me, sniffing her neck. She had a soft tint of rose on her cheeks while I sniffed her. She indeed smelt different. It was not a perfume, it was her natural scent mixed with something…strange.“Dom, what are you doing?” she asked, the nervousness not lifting from her face. I could hear her heartbeat pacing, feeling her stress crawl through my skin. As mates, we could feel each other’s emotions. But why was she so nervous?“Did any of those bitches stir any problem in the coven?” I asked, my face hardened. Avery ran her own coven with thousands of witches under it. Some of them were not very trustworthy, so I always stayed alert. She shook her head and my frown deepened. Then what was the problem?Sean walked in and bowed his head, “Luna, two wolves have initiated a brawl in the fighting grounds and it is hard to stop
DOMINIC’S POV “Stay calm, Alpha. Repeat with me. Breathe in, breathe out.” Sky’s annoying voice buzzed in my ears like those mosquitoes you want to squash with your hands. I wanted to do the same. But he wouldn’t die and whine later like the child he was. I shot him a deadly glare and he retreated, knowing well my anger was at its limit. It had been fucking four hours since I saw her. When I woke up in the morning, I expected her to be beside me, lying naked, but she wasn’t. That’s when I learned she was stolen by her best friend for the wedding. I didn’t understand the hype of wasting so much time on make-up and shit. I would have married her if she walked down the aisle in her pink pajamas. She was beautiful to me, no matter what the circumstance. “I would have liked her to wear no clothes,” Asphalt chuckled and a sinful smirk lifted the corner of my lips. No clothes were better. But it was reserved for us. “Right. How long?” he growled and I looked at my Rolex. “How long, Sky
I breathed a sigh of concern and stared at my eyebags reflecting in the mirror. I was so excited for this day, and Dominic wasn’t feeling sleepy either. So…we kind of spent the night making love to each other. I only got two hours of sleep after that.Jannet was standing right behind, her hands on her hips, disappointment clear on her face, “Which part of a beauty sleep consisted of having sex with your man last night?”I gave her a sheepish smile, “It's good excercise. I slept like a log after that. You should try it too.” I got a smack on my arm in response from her. There was a knock at the door. Jannet answered it and didn’t let me see who it was. I didn’t need to. I could feel them outside the door.“With due respect, Alpha Dark. We agreed on you not seeing her before the wedding,” she said, her voice a little shaky.“Fuck the agreement. I can’t wait this long,” he said and a grin shaped my lips. It was fun to torture him, though I missed him too. I might get punished later for i
AVERY’S POV It all made sense now. Asphalt and I were bound together. But the strange thing was, it was because of my past self’s love for him. In this life, I was scared of both of them and they chased me but in the past, I was the one chasing after them. Aisel was right. There were certain things we would never understand. I smiled at Asphalt who look concerned after he saw my eyes turn white. “What happened to you?” “Nothing. Just saw our past,” I said and pulled him in a deep kiss. If I ever met the Moon Goddess again, I would thank her for giving me this blessing. There were a lot of hardships, but we crossed them together. The past was not necessary, it was the present that mattered more. So I opted to not speak about it to them. Asphalt broke the kiss and whispered, “Time to punish you.” I blinked in confusion and he pulled me up in his arms. He took me to our bedroom and placed me on the bed. I kissed him passionately, our tongues clashing inside for dominance un
AVERY’S POVI sat with Dominic on the portico, overlooking the training of the pack members. He had his arm wrapped around my waist while I rested my head on his shoulder. It felt good to have everything go back to normal. After I pulled the soul of the witches out of Castiel, his body couldn’t take the toll and he died. His soul was consumed by Asphalt and we buried his body in that forest. Dominic took responsibility of the town after some of it was ruined. It took a month to get everything restored, but with my powers, the town was able to breathe again. There were no dark clouds on the sky and sunlight shone over us, welcoming us with its warmth. Since my body was revived from death, Dominic and Asphalt had me staying extremely close to them. If I walked into the bathroom for a minute, they would get worried.I chuckled at the thought. They were getting overprotective, but I didn’t mind it. I loved every second of their presence and wouldn’t ask for anything less. But there was so
