The Luna walks with grace, carrying that always bright aura – not the kind of bright aura that will hurt your eyes but that brightness where it calms you down. Nix smiled as Luna approached and patted his shoulder. "Mary, how are you? How are things going?" he asked.
The Luna sighed in relief. "Good. I just need to figure out where your mate is going to sleep tonight. After that, my evening tasks will be complete."
Nix and I both turned red at the subject while Luna giggled at our reaction. Even if the mate bond was only partially formed and is not yet complete, most mates were unable to sleep if they were separated.
