CHAPTER-40

Isabel opened her eyes when sun rays hit her face telling her that it was morning already. But instead of feeling energetic and happy as she usually feels in the morning, She was feeling tired today. Her head was aching as if she was having a hangover which she was not. Her throat was also sore with constant crying last night. She didn't know when she slept while crying.

Last night, Isabel felt like an empty barren woman. She never felt this hollow in her life except for the time when she lost her father. She was like this on that day as well.

But at least she had Helena with her back then. Today she was alone. She thought about calling her friend multiple times last night. She needed someone to pour her pain to, she needed the shoulder of a friend but she didn't call Helena.

Because she was busy with her own problems. The last time she talked to Helena, she told her about the problems she was having at her job. Isabel didn't want to distress Helena especially with Liam being with
