"Is this true?" Isabel asked him after a long minute of silence. Her mind couldn't accept his explanation.

Viso gave her an exasperated look. "You think I am lying to you?" He demanded sharply. Isabel didn't say anything and looked to another side. She didn't know what to believe and what not. She was confused about the whole situation. About her feelings, about everything.

Viso held her chin softly and forced her to look back at him. "My Uncle was not a very good man, Isabel. I was nothing but a loyal dog to him. A good dog who does what he says."

Isabel parted her lips as she looked at him astounded. She couldn't believe what He was saying. He was confiding in her about his family. Isn't what she wanted from him to open up about his past with her. He was doing it.

“I didn't know about this engagement until two weeks ago. And when I found out about this, I denied it immediately. I am not marrying her or anyone else. I am not the marriage type," He didn't know why He told her this
