NARRATIVE

"Hey! Pour me another glass." The bar attendant stared at the beautiful lady in shock. This was her sixth bottle of beer and he was amazed she could hold her liquor to this moment. Though, she was now wasted as she sat slouched on her chair, leaning against the counter. Her eyes red and eyelids swollen while she battled with her lashes, to keep her eyes open.

It was only natural that the bar attendant serve her as she'd requested, after all, she's only a customer and he, an attendant.

He needed no one to tell him the identity of the drunk lady. She's Imogen Grey. The second daughter of the renowned Chairman Grey and twin sister to the handsome general manager of JP's Enterprise.

However, the attendant couldn't help but wonder why she'd come to drink at the pub alone. It was unusual as she's a lady; a pretty one at that and it was a late at night. Although he could see a burly guard standing a little bit afar off, watching her. Notwithstanding, he gave her anothe

SCARLETT'S POV*Heidi, I'm sorry. I won't be coming home tonight* I sighed as I read through Dad's short text. Closing my eyes, I leaned back on the car seat as memories came to my mind. Memories of when I used to have dinner with just Mom(foster) and Skylar_since we were practically neighbors back home in Australia and ninety nine percent of the time, we spent the night at each other's place. Since I returned to my real family, I've not experienced a lovely family dinner like I once used to. I miss them so much. Lazily, I opened my eyes and glanced at my phone lying on my laps. I just talked with Skylar some minutes ago. If I should text her again, that wouldn't be bad right? I smiled and sat upright with such thoughts in mind. But on second thought, my smile left my face the moment I remembered I already talked about everything with her.But hello...I'm bored, so who cares? We can just have an emoji fight. Lol! I grinned as my excitement returned, glancing briefly out

NARRATIVE Like any other weekend in most wealthy homes, family members of the Grey's household were engaged in diverse individual activities of their choices. While Ashton was out with friends, Imogen still lay in bed sulking from the previous day's incident. Harriet had just stride out of her room but stopped right at the balcony, placing a hand on the railing as she stared with contempt at Scarlett_who was walking across the living room towards the family's music room. Her black hair was in a messy bun with several strands falling over her face and she's dressed in a big white round-neck shirt, dark-blue denim and fluffy white flip-flops. Scarlett didn't seem to notice anyone looking at her as she walked in high spirits, towards the music room. Briefly, she ran a hand over the exquisite piano in the living room before she walked off. Because she wanted a private time, she wasn't going to play piano at the living room. Harriet who'd been watching her all the while s

NARRATIVE Cora smiled through the tears running down her cheeks in torrents, as she stared at the love letters she'd written since several years for Ashton but was rejected and sent back to her. She was sitting in her room chair, the pile of letters on the table before her. An ashtray nearby and a lighter on it. She hadn't taken up her window blinds, neither was the light turned on so her room was dark. Except for the small bedside lamp that she'd left on since the previous night. As Cora stared at her letters somberly, she finally came to a conclusion. She'd tried her best to win Ashton's love. She's been trying for several years now but her attempt never blossom even the smallest of result. Picking up several of the colored envelopes_which contained her numerous love letters to him, she lit up the lighter and slowly placed the yellow flame on the paper, holding it above the ashtray. NARRATIVE Several minutes later, Imogen slowly stood up from the floor, slightly out of her dazed state. She stared at her sleeping mother for a while and wiped the tears rolling down her cheeks. "Mom, I can't bear to see you in such a state. I must find out what's going on and if it has to do with Scarlett, I wouldn't mind doing whatever it takes to drive her away from here. I can't let you continue like this." She slowly muttered. Not long afterwards, Imogen walked to the door and opened it. The moment she was outside, she stared briefly at the spare key in her hand before she proceeded to lock the room door with it. Her mother wouldn't find out yet, that she was in her room. As she walked wobbly down the stairs while supporting herself with a hand on the banister, she suddenly paused. The melodious unfamiliar tune coming from the direction of the music room made her realize someone was there. "Ashton's at it again." She sighed and attempted to walk off when a thought poppe

ASHTON'S POV "Logan mentioned that he already met your elder sister and she's damn pretty. When are you gonna introduce us too?" Dexter said with a chuckle as he moved to the side of the snooker table and kicked a small white ball with his cue stick. It collided with several others and straight way entered a hole. "Your turn." He grinned at me, leaning his cue on his shoulder. "You have no idea how pretty she is." I smiled and positioned to play. Glancing up at him from my bent position, I added. "You boys keep your eyes off my sister." Now returning my gaze to a ball and focusing my cue on it as I kicked it and just like Dexter's, it collided against others and rolled straight into a hole. "Ay! Look at that!" I heard Rhys said from behind us, clicking his tongue afterwards. "Logan you're right. Ash has become really protective more than ever before." He added and they laughed. "But seriously Ash, your sister's really gorgeous_just like a dazzling fairy. You'd be having a

JAMIE'S POV Staring at my daughter as she cried bitterly before me, I knew greatly how much I've messed things up. She's my daughter too. I should have treated her differently. However, because she acts exactly in the manner Harriet does, it's almost impossible to think she could be different. "Imogen, I'm sorry." I said slowly and she stared through her tears at me. "I know you're different. Although, I can't tell you the reason I and your Mom are like this. What she did has long bore a deep hole in my heart even before you and Ashton were born. But notwithstanding, I shouldn't treat you that way. You're right, you're Imogen my precious daughter. You're NOT your mother. I really hope you can forgive me." "Dad..." Imogen sobbed.IMOGEN’S POV I can’t believe the way I’m feeling at this moment. NARRATIVE Jamie Grey cleared his throat once more and continued. "What I'm about to say may not be so pleasant to you but..." "Is this about Scarlett?" Imogen interrupted, narrowing her eyes at her father. His gaze softened as he watched her closely, seeing a brief flash of fury in her eyes. He was yet to give a response when she slowly nodded. "I'd rather not hear it then," Jamie Grey watched helplessly as she grabbed her purse bag and stood up to leave but-- "Sit down, Imogen." Ashton's voice was low yet commanding and Imogen reluctantly obliged. "I'm sure this is important to us as it is to Father," he added softly, now looking up at the chairman. "Father, can we get on with it?" "Thank you," Jamie Grey offered his son a small smile. And without much words this time, he dropped the bombshell. "I want all my children working at JP's Enterprise with me." He said, his words earning Imogen's famous deep frown but he continued anyway. "Imogen," I want you to be committed a

She frowned at the subordinate who had just passed an information to her. She was currently in the study of her secret home in City center. He had been called in for questioning along side some minor shareholders of JP's Enterprise and a few directors as well, that had been involved in this.* Harriet's grip on the iPad tightened and her lips trembled slightly as rage surged through her entire body. Later that same night, Imogen had hurriedly informed her mother about the chairman's conversation on phone which she had overheard. Harriet wasn't surprised by this news. She had already been informed by the subordinate she had assigned to spy on the Bryants household. What she found out wasn't necessarily going to help her goals at the moment, as it seems Palo and Scarlett had something going already. "About KK, why do you think your father invited him over to dinner today?" Harriet asked her daughter and Imogen immediately knew the reason. "He seems to approve of Kyle and Scarlett being together," she replied thoughtfully. Harriet took a close look at her beautiful daughter and a thought occured to her. "Imogen, you like KK, don't you?" Imogen couldn't help but blush as she said. "It's quite obvious I do, mother. A lot." Her mother urgently continued. "Then you have to seduce him." Seeing how her daughter became stunned at her words, Harriet added. "We need

He had even invited her to dinner with his family but she had politely declined. She wasn't sure yet if she should meet them, especially after her father's warning. She was still waiting on him to tell her everything when the time was right, like he had said he would. She had told Skylar about her relationship or situationship with Palo Bryant, and had also informed her foster mom of how Harriet had been keeping tabs on her secretly. Unfortunately, Scarlett and Lexi weren't able to find any trace of anything illegal to Harriet yet. She was seemingly having a clean record. But Scarlett knew it wasn't true. Harriet was cunning so she must have carried out her operations in strategic ways, making sure it led no traces back to her. Scarlett decided she would take things slowly, there m

  • Chairman Grey's Legitimate Daughter   CHAPTER 58: Exposed

NARRATIVE Ashton and his friends were busy in the game room when Skylar brought in cakes for them to snack on. Skylar had made it herself with the assistance of a kitchen staff, of course, and wanted them to try it _ Ashton, mostly. "Enjoy," she whispered to him with a smile and his eyes didn't miss the deliberate wink she gave him and the fast manner she had bitten on her lips before she left. Skylar had made the cake most especially because of him, after learning that he loved eating cakes. And she sincerely hoped he liked it. At the sight of her, Ashton couldn't help lingering his gaze on her behind as she walked off, wishing he could grab those bouncy cheeks and also swat them as much as he needed, right now. If only he wasn't with people, he would have pulled her back in, shut the door after her and do so many dirty things to her that would leave her screaming his name only, around that seductive mouth of hers. But for the sake of their secret relationship,

NARRATIVE It was weekend once again. A Friday specifically. While Ashton and his twin had taken the day off work, Scarlett had gone to the company as she still had a lot to do. She however planned to spend the weekend with Skylar and her foster mom at Aimee Brooke's family farmhouse. Ashton's reason for slacking off was because he was hanging out with his friends at the manor but of course, he secretly wanted to spend more time with Skylar too. Imogen's reason was because she had a hangout with her friends today. Yori had even slept over in the Grey's family manor the previous night. Scarlett was in her office working through some files in her office. Although she was greatly distracted by the thoughts that clouded her reasoning. Thoughts around the recent happenings with Palo Bryant. Were things supposed to be going in the way they were now? Was she supposed to be involved in an office romance with her COO? She sighed as the thoughts kept coming. Scarlett t

ASHTON'S POV "Come with me," I whispered against her lips, lowering her from the kitchen island and she instantly nodded, biting her lips sensually afterwards. Her constant need for me was just as equal to my constant need for her. And now, I don't think I can get by a day in my life without having her. Skylar followed me upstairs into my bedroom, stealthily of course, and I locked the door after us. Ever since the incident at the pool, we've been meeting every other night in secret. We just couldn't get enough of each other, and the more our secret sexual escapades occured, the more we both anticipated the next. "I want to watch you undress, and you need to do it slowly." I whispered and she nodded without disagreement and began doing as I have said. She wasn't even dressed with much to start with. She only had on a thin, transparent silky ash colored nightwear. And obviously, she had nothing under. The sight of her smooth, exposed laps made my mouth watered. Jus
