Marcus's POV

"President's Fiancée Victoria Sullivan Evades Arrest Amidst Accomplice Allegations in Housemaid's Murder Case"

My eyebrows furrowed as I listened to the news.

Did she run away or Gabriel made her disappear?

Before I could even get answers to my question I heard my doorbell ring and upon opening the door my eyebrows furrowed when I saw police outside my unit.

"What do you need?" I ask.

The police who arrested me back in Brazil took a step forward and took my hand putting a handcuff on my wrist.

"Marcus Sullivan you are under arrest for killing Martha Clark and for abducting and raping Lillian Hawthorne. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. Do you understand the rights I have just read to you? With these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me?"
