Olivia

I had finished preparing for dinner.I wore a purple dress to match Daniel's grey suit and purple tie. The dress was mid-length and had a little split to the thigh area.it was silk material. It had only one strap to the right. I curled my hair, did a little makeup, and applied red lipstick.

Once I was done, I exited the bathroom, and I met Daniel's eyes fixated on my body. His eyes looked me up and down and a sexy smirk crossed his lips.

“You’re very lucky we have somewhere to be otherwise, I’d f*ck you again right here.”

“You wish.” I teased.

“Damn right, I do.” He responded and grabbed my hand in his. “Let’s get going wifey.”

I followed behind him as we exited the penthouse and got inside the elevator. He pressed the button to take us to the first floor. I had no idea where we were going. All I was told was to look nice.

“Will Rachel be joining us?” I asked, this was a work dinner after all.

“Not, It would just be you and I with the client.” He responded as the elevator descen

ClydeI sat patiently at the table as I awaited my client and wife's return. It felt completely odd that Olivia and him were taking longer to come. Olivia knew I was a jealous man, but it didn't feel like she wanted to make me jealous, it felt like she wanted to handle the situation, not that I needed it. I can handle everything. Just when the waitress brought our food, Oliva walked out of the bathroom and Mr Jenkins arrived shortly after her. He still appeared to be a little shaken up, but not as bad as when I left him in the hall. My eyes looked him over and then glanced at Olivia. I couldn’t tell what was going through her mind.“Tell me again, what’s the advantage if I sign with you tonight?” Mr. Jenkins asked.I quickly broke off my stare at Olivia and returned my gaze to Mr Jenkins."Well Mr Jenkins, as the president of the Company,I can have the project start immediately, The press release would look very good for your company rather than having a fraud like Mr Smith being your

OliviaI was utterly shocked at his words and how cold he was. I knew that I lashed out at what I said, but He didn’t even let me explain myself. I just helped him, and he dared to speak to me like that. I could feel my anger losing it because I wasn’t going to just let him pass with how he spoke to me.I quickly stormed out of the bedroom to the living room as he was on the other side of the kitchen island with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. He didn’t acknowledge my presence as he took a shot of the alcohol. He clearly was still upset.I didn't hesitate but broke out the silence .“First off, we are in actual marriage here, not some contract my father put me on but one I accepted you as you are, but you have no right to talk to me like that! A child is a decision we both make, not you!” I raised my voice out of my anger.“I just want you to understand that I'm just not ready for a baby right now. I know we are married, but this life you have is not safe to bring a baby into it until

Olivia Daniel and I got ready as we prepared for our flight back.I threw my hair in a ponytail, our bags were packed as we waited for the car to pick us up."Are you ready?" I asked Daniel.“About as ready as I can get.” He responded with the irritation still in his voice. It had been there since Rachel came to tell him about the meeting with my father.I wrapped my arms around his neck.“Don’t let him ruin our day. We’ll meet with him and then go on about our day.”Daniel nodded. “Let’s go get this over with.”After some hours, we arrived at the prison, where my father waited patiently in his chair with an expressionless face. Daniel held my hand as we approached together. I could tell that I was the only one keeping Clyde calm now."It's nice to see you two again."He greeted us as we sat down."What do you want, we know it was you behind the leaked news," Clyde spoke coldly."I see that you reached straight to the point, You knew I needed that contract, why did you take it?"He respo

Olivia Clyde and I returned home a few hours later, and he went strictly into pleasuring me.I then told him that I wanted to do fashion designs and the next day he didn't hesitate to get me a store right away. The place was perfect, it just needed a bit of touch-up by me and we will be ready to go.He requested that I start doing designs as the renovations were finishing up, and we were waiting for the products to finish being produced. He hired some staff that helped in making it very easy to keep my focus on the designs. We were planning a grand opening for next week, and the applications for employees were going to be released today. The applications would go to Miss Parkers in the human resources department; then she would run them by Clyde and give the necessary callbacks. Once we had a good list of people, the interviews would be held.Since returning from our trip I did get my monthly visitor two weeks later, meaning I wasn’t pregnant. Clyde seemed slightly disappointed when I

Olivia After sitting through multiple interviews, we decided to hire four people. I didn't feel we needed as many staff as we just started. On the other hand, Daniel did try to convince me to hire more employees but I managed to talk him out of it. We hired Julia with three others who stood out to both of us. We will give them their roles and duties next week once we open the store. After our decision was made, Daniel returned to the office, and I went to the store for groceries. For the first time, I was responsible for dinner. I gave our maid the day off. I returned from the store with the groceries for a simple spaghetti dinner. I wasn’t the worst cook but I also didn’t claim to be a chef.It was about four-thirty in the afternoon, and Daniel would be home soon. I had a maid help me get familiar with where everything was stored before she left. She even had put in the fridge some easy meals for me to throw together this week. It was her way of thanking me for giving her a day off

OliviaThe next morning, we both set off to our work, I needed to get some stuff done at the store with the help of Julia. I assumed she started helping me right away since she had experience in-store work,I gave her the position of being the manager. The staff and I were organizing the storage room and then someone interrupted my focus."Liv!" Julia called out from the store. She wanted to call me Madam Olivia, but I insisted that she call me Liv.I walked out of the storage room "What is it?""It's your husband, he had his secretary call, he needs to go to his office immediately,"She said. Was the problem? He usually calls my direct line."Okay,"I nodded."I will be back then."She nodded as she continued work.Gabriel parked the car in the parking garage. Once we got out of the car he led the way and I followed beside him. We walked to the elevator and headed to the thirty-second floor where Daniel's office was. Once upstairs he took a seat outside of the secretary’s office.“Hey Rac

OliviaDaniel left immediately after assigning me a temporary bodyguard. This was the first time we were going to be apart through our marriage, but it was his work and I respected that. He arranged everything for me easily so I had nothing hard on my plate.I made him promise to call me every day before he goes to bed.Julia and I finished organizing the storage room and Arthur was now the one who would drive me around for a few days. I decided to drop Julia home and then he returned me to the mansion.“You and Mr Harrison are such a lovely couple.” Julia teased after we had gotten into the back of the car. “Oh hush.” I chuckled as Arthur began to drive.“Maybe one day I’ll get me someone who treats me like a queen like he does you.” She sighed. “You know every time you guys are seen in public you’re a hot topic on social media right?” I hardly spend time on my social media. I couldn’t remember the last time I posted something. “Oh, I have gotten used to them all.” Last tim

OliviaThe next day, the alarm buzzed me through my sleep,I needed to get ready for work,it was seven. I climbed out of bed, took a quick shower to boost me up, and wore a navy blue skirt and a white shirt,I threw my hair in a bun and added a bit of makeup.I felt tired because I didn't have much sleep last night, any noise that I heard would wake me up.It didn't feel right that I hid it from Daniel but I didn't want him worrying, maybe it was all in my head and if anything Arthur was there to protect me.I informed Arthur to meet me in the car at eight sharp. When I came through the house door ,he was waiting in the car for me.I got into the back seat and shut the door.“Good morning Mrs Harrison.” He greeted.“Good morning,” I responded. I couldn't help but ask him about last night.“Hey, did you have company at the house last night?”“No, it was just me, why? Did something happen?” His tone showed he was concerned. He was driving to the store at this point.“No, I thought I had he

OliviaWe drove back to our home silently. He and I needed to have a more in-depth talk about this dinner he planned and then kept his distance. We pulled into the driveway and I went inside without waiting for him. I made my way to the bedroom so we could have privacy. I could hear him following behind me. The bedroom door opened and then closed shortly after I had come in here."Did I do something wrong?" He asked.I sighed as I turned to look at him. "You are so hard to read and I don't know what to do about it.""What do you mean?" He questioned further."You seemed to be emotionless and distant at dinner, but before we leave you're apologizing for not being enough. Are you sorry or at this point do you just tell me what you think I want to hear?" I responded with a question of my own."No. I am sorry I haven't been enough." I could tell he was trying to sound sincere but it just sounded forced."Then why does it seem you didn't even want to be at the dinner you planned?" I felt l

OliviaThe past few days felt like a nightmare; Daniel was completely out of line, He hardly sat at dinner with me. He was stuck in his study, investigating the person who shot him. He even started to drinking which was the worst state to see him in. He refused to talk more about that night. After he admitted he couldn't be weak he took himself to the room I had when I originally came here. I was pissed he had been drunk but I tried to put my feelings aside because I knew it was more like a cry for help. He just needed to push his pride to the side and get the help needed. We couldn't live like this forever. He spent the next week trying to make it up to me in little ways. A couple of gifts here and there, nothing too extreme. He even put together a small dinner for my birthday tonight. I appreciated the gestures but it didn't fix anything right now. What I wanted was my husband back one hundred percent."Are you ready Love?" He asked as he entered the room."Yes." I nodded as I looke

Clyde I could feel myself becoming calmer after the doctor had left the room. I just wanted to get home and get back to my life. I felt like I was going crazy as I sat in this same room over the past few days. There wasn't very much entertainment in the hospital and I had things to do.I needed to figure out who attempted to kill me. I knew I was supposed to be relaxing, but when I was by myself, I spent time compiling a list. A list of people who I have pissed off and made enemies out of. It consisted of people who I cut business with, people who begged to do business, but I declined, and some old friends who are no longer in my life for good reason. I had pissed off a lot of people in my lifetime and I knew it.I didn't care at the time when I dealt with these people. I never thought I would have to worry about them hurting anyone else but me. Now things were different. I had a family I needed to protect and I felt useless recently. I needed to figure this out, not just for me but

Olivia I return to Daniel at the hospital after the information that I had just received. I needed to figure out the best way to bring it up to him. I knew it would cause him stress and worry and he didn't need that right now. But I also couldn't keep it from him, it wouldn't be right and he would be pissed if I did.I parked my car and headed inside to the hospital. The driver followed behind of course. He also accompanied me through the lobby and to Daniel's door. We needed to be careful. We both needed to make sure security didn't leave our side.I took a deep breath in and let it out before opening the door. "How is everything?" Daniel asked as I took a seat in one of the chairs."Everything is fine. She's doing well." I reassured him.It wasn't a total lie. Our baby was doing just fine for where she needed to be. It was my body that seemed to be having a problem. It had decided it was time to begin the process of her arrival. I knew we could handle her coming early, but it made

OliviaI’ve been spending my days at the hospital and forgot to do my weekly checkup at the doctor."I'll be back in a little bit, okay?" I spoke to Daniel as I gathered my things."I don't know why he can't just come here to examine you. It is a hospital after all." He wasn't pleased I was leaving."Because the doctor has a whole clinic with multiple patients," I responded. "I also have to check in at the store. Julia has been doing much more than she's paid to do.""Just get back here soon, Love." He sighed."I know. I won't take long." I reassured him. I placed my lips on his to kiss him goodbye. As I pulled away and headed for the door he grabbed my hand in his to stop me. I glanced back at him to see what he was doing. This man took a moment to check out my ass."Hmm." He bit his bottom lip. "I need to get out of this hospital soon. I have needs that need to be attended to."I rolled my eyes. "Why don't you take a nap?" I suggested."Maybe I will." he smirked. "But I can't guara

Olivia"I know. I know." He spoke as he used his hand to stroke my hair as he held me tightly. "I'm here. no one is going to take me away from you that easily.”I looked up at him. My cheeks were wet, as a few tears had escaped. I was holding back, though, as I was already sick of crying. My eyes and my head hurt from last night, and I didn't want it to get any worse. He placed a kiss on my forehead and proceeded to look around the hospital room. "What happened to me?" he asked."You were shot in the study," I answered. "There were four bullet wounds in total. Two on your right shoulder and two on your lower back. You lost a lot of blood and went into shock."He was quiet as he took in the information I shared with him. "The last thing I remember is going through emails. I got up to go to the kitchen to start figuring out what to make for you and then I fell to the ground.""I feel awful. You were laying there for hours because I worked late." I responded in a low tone. My guilt had

OliviaIt had been a week since Daniel had been in the hospital, and I decided to go home, get a fresh shower, and rest. I left Gabriel to watch him as the driver took me home. The car pulled up to the mansion. I took a deep breath before turning the knob to go inside. The maid heard me come in and immediately came to me. "I'm so sorry, Madam. How are you holding on?" She was visibly upset. I knew she cared for Daniel and we all did.I tried to keep myself together. "I don't know, Rose. I don't know." I responded. This was also her first night back at the house. I called her and gave her the details while she was with her children. I didn't want her time ruined, and I even told her to stay longer if she'd like. She refused and wanted to be back on her normal day.The feeling of the house was different. I never minded being here alone but it was different when you knew he was eventually going to walk in the door. Right now I wasn't too sure when he would be back. I would give anything

I only left the hospital once I knew Daniel was stable. He hadn't woken up yet but the transfusions seemed to have helped him a lot. The doctor was satisfied with how much progress he had made. It was just a matter of time before he woke up.I refused to leave his side for longer than a few minutes. I wanted to be there for him when he did wake up so I put Julia in charge of watching over the store. She kept me updated on any information that I needed to know. It helped ease the stress of the situation for right now.It had been about three days since the incident, and it felt like the longest days of my life. I had decided to address the public, so now everyone knew he had been shot. There was a lot of support for him on social media. I was even surprised by some of the messages that I was receiving. People wanted to check in on us.The detective on the case had come in to talk to me. They reviewed the security footage along with other evidence like a footprint. They were confident t

Olivia I immediately dialed the ambulance number, and they rushed in a few minutes after. It was like witnessing a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I couldn't believe this had happened, we had just talked a couple hours ago. All that I could do was stand back and watch the paramedics as they determined how stable he was. They moved quickly to get him on a gurney and back to the ambulance. We arrived at the hospital in a few minutes, and they took Daniel in.Who could have done this? My only guess would be my father since he escaped the prison, or Debra, but I wasn't sure."Mrs. Harrison?" A voice caused me to turn around. It was a male doctor."Is he going to be okay?" I asked."It appears that your husband was shot a few hours ago. He's lost a lot of blood from being left unattended for so long. His body had gone into shock, which is why he was unresponsive. We need to perform surgery to see about removing the bullets and to make any repairs to his organs," the doctor explain
