Olivia

The next morning, we both set off to our work, I needed to get some stuff done at the store with the help of Julia. I assumed she started helping me right away since she had experience in-store work,I gave her the position of being the manager.

The staff and I were organizing the storage room and then someone interrupted my focus.

"Liv!" Julia called out from the store.

She wanted to call me Madam Olivia, but I insisted that she call me Liv.

I walked out of the storage room "What is it?"

"It's your husband, he had his secretary call, he needs to go to his office immediately,"She said.

Was the problem? He usually calls my direct line.

"Okay,"I nodded.

"I will be back then."She nodded as she continued work.

Gabriel parked the car in the parking garage. Once we got out of the car he led the way and I followed beside him. We walked to the elevator and headed to the thirty-second floor where Daniel's office was. Once upstairs he took a seat outside of the secretary’s office.

OliviaDaniel left immediately after assigning me a temporary bodyguard. This was the first time we were going to be apart through our marriage, but it was his work and I respected that. He arranged everything for me easily so I had nothing hard on my plate.I made him promise to call me every day before he goes to bed.Julia and I finished organizing the storage room and Arthur was now the one who would drive me around for a few days. I decided to drop Julia home and then he returned me to the mansion.“You and Mr Harrison are such a lovely couple.” Julia teased after we had gotten into the back of the car. “Oh hush.” I chuckled as Arthur began to drive.“Maybe one day I’ll get me someone who treats me like a queen like he does you.” She sighed. “You know every time you guys are seen in public you’re a hot topic on social media right?” I hardly spend time on my social media. I couldn’t remember the last time I posted something. “Oh, I have gotten used to them all.” Last tim

OliviaThe next day, the alarm buzzed me through my sleep,I needed to get ready for work,it was seven. I climbed out of bed, took a quick shower to boost me up, and wore a navy blue skirt and a white shirt,I threw my hair in a bun and added a bit of makeup.I felt tired because I didn't have much sleep last night, any noise that I heard would wake me up.It didn't feel right that I hid it from Daniel but I didn't want him worrying, maybe it was all in my head and if anything Arthur was there to protect me.I informed Arthur to meet me in the car at eight sharp. When I came through the house door ,he was waiting in the car for me.I got into the back seat and shut the door.“Good morning Mrs Harrison.” He greeted.“Good morning,” I responded. I couldn't help but ask him about last night.“Hey, did you have company at the house last night?”“No, it was just me, why? Did something happen?” His tone showed he was concerned. He was driving to the store at this point.“No, I thought I had he

OliviaI kept having sleepless nights due to the same noises that I kept hearing at night . It sounded like footsteps outside of the bedroom, and the doorknob attempted to turn. I always locked my door before I slept. I had called down to Arthur, who said he didn’t see anyone. It was hard to argue that this incident was in my head. I couldn't make it another night; I was a bit terrified so I asked Julia to come and stay with me tonight. After a long day of work, I needed a good rest and I would feel better if someone I trusted was with me. She agreed after I had explained the events to her. She felt that it was hard to ignore the doorknob too.We picked up some Chinese takeout and arrived at the mansion. I didn’t feel like cooking anything tonight because I was too exhausted. We took it into the kitchen and ate. It was silent until Julia finally spoke.“So when does your husband return.” She asked. “I don’t know yet. Let me try to call him.” I pulled my phone out and dialed Danie

OliviaI felt a huge needle piercing in my chest after I saw that photo.I didn't know how to feel it could be someone trying to get my reaction, but what truly hurt me was that Daniel ignored my calls. My phone rang the next day for the tenth time, it was Daniel but I kept rejecting it. After seeing that picture from the mysterious number,I shut down myself. We were married and finally happy and this happened, it felt like a stab to the heart. He managed to get a hold of Arthur who told him I was fine. There was so much going on with work in the store, as I threw myself into drawings to distract myself from overthinking. I had everyone else work on setting things up with Julia’s supervision. I just wanted to be left alone right now. Not that Daniel was allowing that to happen. My phone didn't ring for some brief moment but that was probably due to him going into meetings. I knew I should probably hear him out on whatever excuse he may have. But I didn’t want to have this conversation

Olivia Things were gradually moving for my store; the sign was put up a week ago last Saturday, and Everything looked amazing, We had all the products we needed, and we had a great team of staff around. The only thing that remained for us to open was Daniel. He would be returning soon, but I was still hurt that he lied to me., I avoided him and never talked to him since I shut down my phone. He could only check on me through Julia and Arthur. The store was the only thing that kept me busy from overthinking my brain.I was also beginning to feel uncomfortable around Arthur. After the incident of him touching my thigh,I felt like his eyes kept roaming me.He was like an animal that was filled with hunger, watching his prey. Even though he apologized,I felt like it was an act and that he somehow seemed disappointed that I rejected him.Julia stayed with me every night, which helped calm the nerves I had. There was no noise outside of my door. She didn't trust Arthur either and wanted to be

Clyde I was extremely hurt by Olivia ignoring my phone calls; it got to the point that I couldn't handle it anymore. Olivia gave orders to Julia to only give me details about the store. Still, she disobeyed and let me on about the strange events that have been happening since I left, she felt something was off about Arthur. I had Gabriel do a backup search on Arthur right away, and it turns out he was never on that security program.I immediately got on the jet without hesitation, If I hadn’t gotten here in time, he would’ve hurt Olivia.I never handled things by the police because they are pretty useless. I run my things my way. I would have to handle him in my style and then later handle him to prison. He was supposed to protect my wife, but instead, he used my being away from her as an advantage for his damn pleasure. Olivia was mine and he was going to pay for what he had done. Olivia was the only pure soul that I had left in my life and he had scared her from sexual assault.I w

OliviaMy eyes felt heavy as I tried to open them from the rays of sunlight beaming on my face. I had the worst headache as I opened my eyes and sat up from the bed. I quickly noticed Daniel watching me from the chair. He looked like he didn't sleep, his eyes had bags under them. As soon as he noticed my movement, his eyes widened. He rushed to the side of the bed."How are you feeling?"He spoke softly."I feel okay, what happened exactly?""Arthur almost tried to rape you but luckily I got here in time."He answered and then explained,"You don't have to worry about him anymore,I handled the situation.I got a message last night from the guards that you weren't moving so I immediately rushed home and called a doctor.""And?Is everything fine?"I asked."Yes,it was a just minor issue,it was just an effect of what Arthur gave you."He answered."What did you do to him?"I was intrigued but I knew it wasn't going to be a good answer. He held my hand in his,"I can't give you all the details but

OliviaIt was hard to fall asleep in the guest room but eventually after many tosses, sleep caved me. I had a good few hours in when I was woken up to the door slamming open. It had startled me so I slightly jumped and sat up. The morning sun was hitting my face causing me to squint. I noticed right away Daniel was standing in the room, waiting for me to acknowledge him."Why are you in here?” I asked, my voice was groggy with sleep.“Last time I checked I paid for this house alone. Which means I can enter any room in this home whenever I want to.” His tone was slightly cold. He must still be upset that I didn’t take his excuse right away. He had gotten very frustrated with me and it was clear his frustration remained.“Well, what do you want?” My voice was more awake at this point.“You were right, the media had gotten ahold of the picture. He informed me.“Well good for you,”I said sarcastically.“I have proof that the picture was not what it seems.” He glanced at me and it got my at

OliviaWe drove back to our home silently. He and I needed to have a more in-depth talk about this dinner he planned and then kept his distance. We pulled into the driveway and I went inside without waiting for him. I made my way to the bedroom so we could have privacy. I could hear him following behind me. The bedroom door opened and then closed shortly after I had come in here."Did I do something wrong?" He asked.I sighed as I turned to look at him. "You are so hard to read and I don't know what to do about it.""What do you mean?" He questioned further."You seemed to be emotionless and distant at dinner, but before we leave you're apologizing for not being enough. Are you sorry or at this point do you just tell me what you think I want to hear?" I responded with a question of my own."No. I am sorry I haven't been enough." I could tell he was trying to sound sincere but it just sounded forced."Then why does it seem you didn't even want to be at the dinner you planned?" I felt l

OliviaThe past few days felt like a nightmare; Daniel was completely out of line, He hardly sat at dinner with me. He was stuck in his study, investigating the person who shot him. He even started to drinking which was the worst state to see him in. He refused to talk more about that night. After he admitted he couldn't be weak he took himself to the room I had when I originally came here. I was pissed he had been drunk but I tried to put my feelings aside because I knew it was more like a cry for help. He just needed to push his pride to the side and get the help needed. We couldn't live like this forever. He spent the next week trying to make it up to me in little ways. A couple of gifts here and there, nothing too extreme. He even put together a small dinner for my birthday tonight. I appreciated the gestures but it didn't fix anything right now. What I wanted was my husband back one hundred percent."Are you ready Love?" He asked as he entered the room."Yes." I nodded as I looke

Clyde I could feel myself becoming calmer after the doctor had left the room. I just wanted to get home and get back to my life. I felt like I was going crazy as I sat in this same room over the past few days. There wasn't very much entertainment in the hospital and I had things to do.I needed to figure out who attempted to kill me. I knew I was supposed to be relaxing, but when I was by myself, I spent time compiling a list. A list of people who I have pissed off and made enemies out of. It consisted of people who I cut business with, people who begged to do business, but I declined, and some old friends who are no longer in my life for good reason. I had pissed off a lot of people in my lifetime and I knew it.I didn't care at the time when I dealt with these people. I never thought I would have to worry about them hurting anyone else but me. Now things were different. I had a family I needed to protect and I felt useless recently. I needed to figure this out, not just for me but

Olivia I return to Daniel at the hospital after the information that I had just received. I needed to figure out the best way to bring it up to him. I knew it would cause him stress and worry and he didn't need that right now. But I also couldn't keep it from him, it wouldn't be right and he would be pissed if I did.I parked my car and headed inside to the hospital. The driver followed behind of course. He also accompanied me through the lobby and to Daniel's door. We needed to be careful. We both needed to make sure security didn't leave our side.I took a deep breath in and let it out before opening the door. "How is everything?" Daniel asked as I took a seat in one of the chairs."Everything is fine. She's doing well." I reassured him.It wasn't a total lie. Our baby was doing just fine for where she needed to be. It was my body that seemed to be having a problem. It had decided it was time to begin the process of her arrival. I knew we could handle her coming early, but it made

OliviaI’ve been spending my days at the hospital and forgot to do my weekly checkup at the doctor."I'll be back in a little bit, okay?" I spoke to Daniel as I gathered my things."I don't know why he can't just come here to examine you. It is a hospital after all." He wasn't pleased I was leaving."Because the doctor has a whole clinic with multiple patients," I responded. "I also have to check in at the store. Julia has been doing much more than she's paid to do.""Just get back here soon, Love." He sighed."I know. I won't take long." I reassured him. I placed my lips on his to kiss him goodbye. As I pulled away and headed for the door he grabbed my hand in his to stop me. I glanced back at him to see what he was doing. This man took a moment to check out my ass."Hmm." He bit his bottom lip. "I need to get out of this hospital soon. I have needs that need to be attended to."I rolled my eyes. "Why don't you take a nap?" I suggested."Maybe I will." he smirked. "But I can't guara

Olivia"I know. I know." He spoke as he used his hand to stroke my hair as he held me tightly. "I'm here. no one is going to take me away from you that easily.”I looked up at him. My cheeks were wet, as a few tears had escaped. I was holding back, though, as I was already sick of crying. My eyes and my head hurt from last night, and I didn't want it to get any worse. He placed a kiss on my forehead and proceeded to look around the hospital room. "What happened to me?" he asked."You were shot in the study," I answered. "There were four bullet wounds in total. Two on your right shoulder and two on your lower back. You lost a lot of blood and went into shock."He was quiet as he took in the information I shared with him. "The last thing I remember is going through emails. I got up to go to the kitchen to start figuring out what to make for you and then I fell to the ground.""I feel awful. You were laying there for hours because I worked late." I responded in a low tone. My guilt had

OliviaIt had been a week since Daniel had been in the hospital, and I decided to go home, get a fresh shower, and rest. I left Gabriel to watch him as the driver took me home. The car pulled up to the mansion. I took a deep breath before turning the knob to go inside. The maid heard me come in and immediately came to me. "I'm so sorry, Madam. How are you holding on?" She was visibly upset. I knew she cared for Daniel and we all did.I tried to keep myself together. "I don't know, Rose. I don't know." I responded. This was also her first night back at the house. I called her and gave her the details while she was with her children. I didn't want her time ruined, and I even told her to stay longer if she'd like. She refused and wanted to be back on her normal day.The feeling of the house was different. I never minded being here alone but it was different when you knew he was eventually going to walk in the door. Right now I wasn't too sure when he would be back. I would give anything

I only left the hospital once I knew Daniel was stable. He hadn't woken up yet but the transfusions seemed to have helped him a lot. The doctor was satisfied with how much progress he had made. It was just a matter of time before he woke up.I refused to leave his side for longer than a few minutes. I wanted to be there for him when he did wake up so I put Julia in charge of watching over the store. She kept me updated on any information that I needed to know. It helped ease the stress of the situation for right now.It had been about three days since the incident, and it felt like the longest days of my life. I had decided to address the public, so now everyone knew he had been shot. There was a lot of support for him on social media. I was even surprised by some of the messages that I was receiving. People wanted to check in on us.The detective on the case had come in to talk to me. They reviewed the security footage along with other evidence like a footprint. They were confident t

Olivia I immediately dialed the ambulance number, and they rushed in a few minutes after. It was like witnessing a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I couldn't believe this had happened, we had just talked a couple hours ago. All that I could do was stand back and watch the paramedics as they determined how stable he was. They moved quickly to get him on a gurney and back to the ambulance. We arrived at the hospital in a few minutes, and they took Daniel in.Who could have done this? My only guess would be my father since he escaped the prison, or Debra, but I wasn't sure."Mrs. Harrison?" A voice caused me to turn around. It was a male doctor."Is he going to be okay?" I asked."It appears that your husband was shot a few hours ago. He's lost a lot of blood from being left unattended for so long. His body had gone into shock, which is why he was unresponsive. We need to perform surgery to see about removing the bullets and to make any repairs to his organs," the doctor explain
