A complete week passed, and Ezra received the emergency boarding meeting invitation. He sat in his office, staring at it. He was quite aware of the models leaving and understood it was all because of Penelope.

The stupid decision to hand over all the contracts was beginning to bite, but most of the models that left were not up to her hype and following. Despite the hate he had for her, she was her own brand.

Convincing the board was going to be tricky, but he needed to use his head. All he needed was to invite a few freelance models to cover up for the models who quit while looking for replacements, including Penelope's replacement.

The door opened, and Penelope walked in. He looked up. She was supposed to be preparing for the runway show.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

Penelope threw a file on his desk and took a seat.

"My contract negotiation, I want more money, seeing that I will be carrying this company alone," she said.

Ezra kept a straight face, she was joking. She missed
