Chapter 16

Ezra's Lips curled with disgust, and the veins in his neck stood out in livid ridges as he put his phone down.

"How dare you lay your stupid hands on my mother!" he yelled.

Sarah's Lips parted in silent surprise; she could hear her own heart beating. She should have guessed the woman was going to spin the assault on her.

"I am fucking talking to you!" he yelled at her.

"I did not touch her, she is lying," Sarah finally said. "She is the one that hit me!"

Ezra cocked his neck, making a twisting sound. Arguing was not going to solve anything. The woman in front of him had no self-respect and was going to continue lying.

He grabbed his phone and called security.

"What are you doing?" Sarah got up and grabbed the phone out of his hands, much to his horror.

"I swear if you throw me out of the building, your mother will sleep in a jail cell because there are a lot of witnesses in that coffee shop!" she yelled.

It was a long shot, but Sarah was not going to sit back and watch the crazy woman
