ESTEFAN'S POV

“Oh my God, that's good news,” Mom exclaimed. “Can we see her now?”

“Yes,” the doctor replied.

“No,” I countered and said to the doctor. “I'm Rhea's husband and legal guardian, I don't want anybody visiting her except for me. Is that understood?”

It registered in my head that someone tried to poison Rhea under my nose. I had a feeling it was from the dinner we had according to what the doctor said. The little potion of food she had saved her and our baby.

At that point, I couldn't bring myself to trust anyone around us, most especially my family, considering the differences we had and our Rhea has been accused of being the mastermind.

“Yes, Your Highness.” He bowed and walked away.
