"Greetings, Mr. Lorcan Amadeus!" Mom welcomed him in a very exaggerated tone.

She even stood up from her seat to acknowledge my ex-husband's presence. Dad on the other hand, cleared his throat and stood up with my mother, offered a handshake to Lorcan who was looking at them impassively.

"A pleasant day to you, my son-in-law." Father said and i was like, 'what son-in-law?'

It should be, former son-in-law! Heck. This is getting embarrassing as seconds passes by.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rae..." Lorcan timidly accepted their hands, he kissed mom's back hand emotionlessly. "What made you visit my place?" He then gazed at me. I bit my lip and looked down.

"It's my sister. We discovered from her friend here that she's been staying here in your place--" Kaden was quickly cut off by Sydney who was sitting next to me.

"It's because I was forced! You threatened me!" She exclaimed angrily so, i have to calm her down.

Kaden rolled his eyes at her. Look at this man, such a bitch himself.

"And what do you
