"L-Lucas! I can't do it! I didn't stole the wealth from the corporation companies, please! I love you! I can't do that to you!"

Tears were just rolling down in my face. All the guests were looking at me. I know they are confused about what is going on?

But I hope they can understand me. I can't do that with Lucas. I love him very much, may dearest man.

I could only look into Lucas's eyes. He shook his head in a few times, regetting for. Don't he say that he also believes to what they are projecting to me.

"Lucas I can't do that to you! I hope you can understand me! I'm not!" shaking my head while my tears falling apart from my eyes.

"Stop explaining Iris. Whatever your proofs. You stole the company's wealth. You must say that you are a gold digger, right?" Lucas's mom says in louder.

My lips trembled down with fear. I couldn't move from where I was standing. My feet were glued to the floor.

I was just holding my gown while guests were looking at me. I was almost vanish from their sights.

I bowed down and sobbed into tears. I can't steal the wealth from Vonteros family. I can't destroy my dignity just of money.

"You are a liar. You are the one who stole it. Don't defend yourself for your all lies. You are using my son to be a part of this legacy."

I raised my face to Lucas's mom. I don't know what she is accusing me with that matter. I am the victim.

"I'm sorry but... I can't do that to your son. I'm not protecting myself. I'm telling the truth."

Lucas's mom raised her eyebrows towards me. She shook her head. Her eyes was burning in furious.

She took his gold handbag and opened it. Her gold handbag shone between us. She took a cheque and gave it in front of me.

My eyes widened in curiosity. Why is Lucas's mom giving me a cheque?

"10 million dollars. Just get away my son. I won't you to be my daughter-in-law." anger flared at her face.

I shook my head. My knees trembled down. I can't take what she gives to me. She look down me as a thirst in money. I can't take the cheque that she was giving in front of me.

My tears just fall desperately. I was crying. I loved Lucas not for wealth, not for money, not for legacy.

I loved Mr. Lucas with my true beauty and soul. In my true feelings.

"I can't accept what you're giving to me. I love your son not for the wealth. I love him because he makes my heart happy."

I let go my gown and caress my face. My eyes just shedding of tears. I looked up at Lucas's mom again.

"So you don't want to take it? How many cost you wanted? Just tell me? I will give more woman." she challenged me emphatically.

"I can't accept that! I'm sorry! Even if you catch all the stars in the universe and give them to me. I'd rather choose your son because I love him with all my heart. He's my true wealth and treasure." I explained.

"I hated a big liar woman." Lucas's mom said.

My eyes widened when she tore the cheque she was giving to me. It was 10 million dollars cost.

"Son, stay away from this woman. She is not worthy of your marriage. A liar and a gold digger. All she wants from you is money."

All guests look down at me in that way. They are scolding me. Seemed I have infectious disease in their eyes. They are murmuring. They are mocking me.

No! I shook my head.

"That's enough. My daughter is not a thief. She's not a gold digger. Iris can't do that."

I turned when my mom spoke. Knowing she wanted to defend me. I know it hurts to her to saw me that I'm defending myself alone.

"Let's go, Iris." mom said. But I didn't move from where I was standing.

I shook my head as I looked into mom's eyes. I don't want to go with her.

I want Lucas and I to get married because I've been waiting for this a long time. I want to prove to all guests that I'm not a gold digger.

I did not stole the company's wealth.

I raised my eyes with Lucas. I saw the furious on his eyes.

Lucas grabbed my arm and pulled me away from them. Lucas held me tightly while we are walking on. I'm hurting in this way.

When Lucas almost dragged me out from the venue, I stopped him. Even the man I love the most hates me right now?

I raised my eyes to him. I shook my head with a regret. Lucas's eyes only narrowed in furious.

"I thought you were a good woman Iris? You made me embarrassed to them. Why did you do this to me? How?" Lucas blamed me.

"Lucas. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not? Please believe me even now. I don't know what they are accusing me for." I explained. My tears were just falling out.

"No! Because of what you did. You destroyed my image Iris. You destroyed my identity to the people who trusted me. You are so terrible." Lucas shook his head with a deep regrets.

He didn't understand me. I can't do that to him. I hope he listens to his heart.

"Lucas I love you more than that. I can't do it to you. I'm not!" I raised my voice to him. I wanted to make him understand me that I'm telling the truth.

Lucas's mind has also been poisoned. He also believed to the thing they were accusing me for.

I don't care if they says that I'm desperate bride. I want to prove that I love him. He is the man that I will marry.

I don't care if I keep pushing myself into him. I'm desperate in all desperates woman but I love him more than he could imagine.

I don't care if I look stupid in front of him. I don't care if he hates me. I love him and that's what I'm going to prove.

"Stop it Iris. It was embarrassing! You see!"

I slowly turned my eyes to all guests around us. I am not ashamed. I don't know what they are thinking about.

I turned my eyes into Lucas's face. I can see the impatient on his lips. I saw his disgusting eyes.

I don't know why even Lucas believed with that? He look me down as a gold digger like what they thinking about me.

I thought he loved me? But why he is now hating me?

I holds my elegant wedding gown. I'm just crying while looking into Lucas's eyes.

I shook my head. I walk out from him. I sobbed myself into tears.

I immediately stopped the taxi that was passing by. I immediately got on it to leave. I want to run away from their sights. I'm hurting deep inside now.
