CHAPTER EIGHTY TWO

MANNY

“Have you heard from Kate recently?”

“No. Still nothing.” Andrew answered coldly as he tried away on his laptop.

“Are you hungry?”

“I'm good.”

Manny sighed and laid on the bed.

It's been a month and they've heard nothing from Kate. Not threat messages, no attacks. Even Avery was keeping a low profile these days.

It was like she'd disappeared all of a sudden. If only that were true.

But Andrew was still on high alert, he knew she was waiting for a perfect time to strike and that was one of the many reasons he was still at Manny's house.

“Won't you say something?”

“What is there to say? It's not like you'll listen anyway.” Andrew snickered. He had decided to let Manny do as she pleased, still a part of him thought it would be wise to stay with her just in case—another one of the many reasons.
