I notice how he look around and look back down at me, still grinning. “Well, why not?”

I gasped. This man. He really don’t want to lose a conversation. For him, he must have the final laugh. I was just teasing him! I did not mean that thought!

I push him on his chest and was about to move away from his hold when he pulled me closer to him, holding me on my waist. I shriek and completely surprised by his sudden movement then the enxt thing I know, he is already kissing me!

Oh my God.

I wanted to push him away but my mind opposed the idea, so i close my eyes while feeling his lips on mine. He slowly moves it, making me me feel the butterflies inside my stomach. I scratch my brows. “I want to but Alaric and I would be continuing our Thesis this weekend, I guess I really can’t. Why”?” Levi took a deep breath from the other line which made me crease my brows but he spoke nonetheless. “I was planning on fetching you there, but I guess you are still busy. Leigh keeps on asking about you. That woman don’t know how to chill.” He spoke, a little annoyed. I laugh on how Levi reacted before I step out from the elevator when I arrive in our floor. I tap my card key on the lock to scan for my identity before the door make its sound. I transferred my phone from my right ear to my left as I get inside the unit. I decided to slump down on the couch to rest a little while talking to my friends. “Where are you currently?” I asked Levi. “Leigh’s.” He murmured. I nod my head with a little smile on my face. “You guys have to enjoy your long weekend since you are decision makes. Cutting classes all of a sudden?” “Who’s that?” I heard Nathan’s voice from the

She laugh from the other line and she seems enjoying while teasing me. Later on, she went back closer to her phone. “So what about it?” She ask, a little serious now but there is still a visible grin on her face which made me groan one more time. I roll my eyes when I notice that her pillow has a BTS print on it so she giggle as well while she puts it on her lap, leaning over to watch me. I sigh before pulling a straight face. “That night when Rael was drunk. Remember that we fetch him in the club when he was about to go on a drag race while drunk. Did…” I trailed and this time, I seem

I spent another minutes to chill myself up when my phone vibrated, showing Alaric’s name on the screen this time. I immediately move my hands to the steering wheel when I notice that it’s green light already so in pure urgency, I drive off the road and saw the other cars from behind me drove to my side and that one annoyed driver look at me in pure frustration. I bow my head to apologize silently but he just shake his head before running ahead of me, leaving some dirty car emissions. I cough as soon as he left the area and trust me when I say that I am annoyed now. Even though I cause him a little trouble, it doesn’t give him the credit to do that! “That jerk—aish!” I exclaimed annoyingly when I tried to drive faster with him but he is already distance away from me. I annoyingly park my car on the side to calm my nerves down. I do not want to continue driving, feeling annoyed because of that bald bearded-man! I screamed on top of my lungs one more time before looking in front.

I look around the kitchen and it is very spacious white-themed space. There is a top counter in the middle then a sink and this place obviously has everything. “Mom, did Dad went home earlier?” Alaric asked while grabbing plates for us. He then first ushered me to sit down before going back to what he is doing. “Let me do it.” He stated when Tita was about to get another bowl. “Thanks, son. Your

I look at him this time and notice how Damian looks so annoyed as he sips on his wine glass. When I notice that he gulps everything inside his wine in one go, I lean backward on my seat tilting my head as I watch him, silently getting furious about what is going in his family. I blow a deep breath before I put my spoon and fork down. “Why? Are you not in a good relationship with them?” I asked, trying to fish some information form him, knowing that he is very mad at those people and he treats everything that is going on with regards to them a big deal. He cleared his throat, looking at me. I can still notice his jaw getting clenched but he softly look at me at the same time. Later on, he shakes his head. “Let’s just not talk about them.” He stated as he put his wine glass down. “How about we enjoy the date?” Because of what he said, in an impulse, I look away from him and unaware on how to react. Did not know why I am back on my hometown alone after spending a day with my friends. Earlier, I was laughing with them to cast all my worries away not until I am finally left alone inside that house. Days and weeks passed by so fast. Damian and I maintained the distance, we did not talk like the usual. We just talk about the improvements of the baby, nothing more personal. I have been hiding crying under the sheets for weeks now as well but I woke up feeling a lot better than the previous day. I kept reminding myself to be strong for this little me inside me and that I should continue this damn of a hell-hole.Today, it’s Friday. Leigh and Alaric would be coming here after class so I prepared and ordered foods for us. Damian already said himself that I can definitely treat this house as my own, so inviting my friends would not be a big deal. In fact, he even went to pay Aubrey a visit on their rented unit last day so I think we are both fair towards each other. I cup my belly when my stomach growl. I check for the time and sees it’s almost twelve in the afternoon already so I grab some few slices from the steak I ordered from Denvi’s place. I go on my monthly check up as well and

Like what we really want to do, Alaric and I are now looking at the sandbar from a far. People there are enjoying their little vacation, perhaps some of these are students who just finished their term exam. We are both leaning on his car while we are on the side way. Silence envelopes us for long minutes now, no one is talking. We just enjoyed our company without necessary words to speak. I know that there are lots of question running through his head, even I.Questions like, why? Where did we go wrong? Did I trust him too much? Was I that gullible? And lastly, why is he treating Aubrey unlikely? But the latter seems cool seeing us yesterday—like the first day I saw her. I do not know if was I too stupid not to notice or there is really something going on between Damian and I.A loud sigh escape from my lips before tilting my head. “Aren’t you hungry?” I asked to break the silence, remembering that we never had our lunch still. Well, I was about to. But never thought I would be seeing

It’s already eight in the evening when Alaric sent me home after hours of riding the car near the sea side. After Damian left earlier, Alaric invited me for a drive for me to ease the burden feeling I was dealing with earlier. Unlike what Damian said, I did not wait for him back there. And now, as I head inside the n=entrance of the house, the lights from the living room are already off except upstairs. I took a heavy breath while going towards the kitchen and drink a glass of water. I lean for a few seconds on the counter before removing my blazer as I walk upstairs, burnt out and with a heavy heart.I check the balcony of Damian is there but he wasn’t so I am sure he is inside his room. I do not know what pushes me to invite him here but I just feel like going in here, did not really expect that he’ll go with me.Few seconds passed when I saw him offering me a tumbler of water, moving it to and fro in front of my face. “Here.”My gaze shifted towards him confusedly. “You already drank in here.” I muttered, reminding him that he already used this and I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to use it as well, knowing that he used it first-hand.He chuckled. “Right. It was so stupid of me not to realize that.” He mumbled before looking around the area. “You wait here. I’ll find some stores that sells water.”I am about to stop him and would be the one to look for one but Alaric already walked away. The next day, Alaric and I still decided to see each other. We are still in Damian’s place as what Alaric also suggested so that we can ask assistance for Damian today. We are almost done on our Thesis which is an advantage so that we don’t have to worry anymore after finals. “Should I talk with Damian instead? I have just few questions to ask.” Alaric said in the middle of our silence. I look at him and he is seriously typing on his laptop while not looking at me. I then turn around to look upstairs before nodding my head. “Sure, if you want to.” I simply mumbled before I fix few useless papers on the carpet. Alaric just nod my head, not responding anymore. Few more minutes has passed one more time when he stand up. I follow him with my gaze as he started roaming around. “Uh, are you seeing him now?” He shake his head with a smile. “No, I was about to ask if you guys can print out papers here.” I immediately nod my head and stand up. “Of course.
