While I am busy gaining back my sanity, I heard the cars from behind me horns loudly making me jump out of surprised. I immediately move my hands to the steering wheel when I notice that it’s green light already so in pure urgency, I drive off the road and saw the other cars from behind me drove to my side and that one annoyed driver look at me in pure frustration.

I bow my head to apologize silently but he just shake his head before running ahead of me, leaving some dirty car emissions. I cough as soon as he left the area and trust me when I say that I am annoyed now. Even though I cause him a little trouble, it doesn’t give him the credit to do that!

“That jerk—aish!” I exclaimed annoyingly when I tried to drive faster with him but he is already distance away from me.

I annoyingly park my car on the side to calm my nerves down. I do not want to continue driving, feeling annoyed because of that bald bearded-man!

I screamed on top of my lungs one more time before looking in front.

When I saw that Elric and Nikolai is with the group, I slide the car window back up to avoid those people. “Maybe after they leave.” I murmured to myself before leaning on my seat. I check the group of guys walking away from the parking space and made it sure that they a

I look behind me where Alaric is chuckling tailing us. To be honest, I wanted to get shy and all but the way she welcomes a visitor like me is making me a lot comfortable than what I expected. “I so love cooking and I can’t wait to let you taste my foods that I prepared for you guys.” She chuckled. I look around the kitchen and it is very spacious white-themed space. There is a top counter in the middle then a sink and this place obviously has everything. “Mom, did Dad went home earlier?” Alaric asked while grabbing plates for us. He then first ushered me to sit down before going back to what he is doing. “Let me do it.” He stated when Tita was about to get another bowl. “Thanks, son. Your

I look at him this time and notice how Damian looks so annoyed as he sips on his wine glass. When I notice that he gulps everything inside his wine in one go, I lean backward on my seat tilting my head as I watch him, silently getting furious about what is going in his family. I blow a deep breath before I put my spoon and fork down. “Why? Are you not in a good relationship with them?” I asked, trying to fish some information form him, knowing that he is very mad at those people and he treats everything that is going on with regards to them a big deal. He cleared his throat, looking at me. I can still notice his jaw getting clenched but he softly look at me at the same time. Later on, he shakes his head. “Let’s just not talk about them.” He stated as he put his wine glass down. “How about we enjoy the date?” Because of what he said, in an impulse, I look away from him and unaware on how to react. The next morning, I stirred up on my bed when I felt someone’s breath on my shoulder. I blink my eyes for a little while before it open widely, realizing who the person is. I am about to scream but then I chose not to even though I am already freaking out inside—but the thought of waking him up because of my loudness would be so ridiculously rude. With a hitch breathing, I slowly look at him and saw how close his face is to my chin. Both of his arms are crossed over his chest, legs curling up and it was late when I notice that he don’t have a blanket on to cover his body. I check the temperature and saw the numbers, thinking how cold it is under that temperature number. I got almost part of the blanket—leaving him no space to cover on so now, he is cold while closing his eyes—still obviously asleep. I move a little but I also made sure not to disturb Damian. I slowly put on the blanket to his body and for him to get covered and as soon as the blanket is being removed from my body, th

“Do you by chance, have any plans for today?” I look at Damian when he asked me that question. I am currently just staring at nowhere while listening the sound of the rain from the outside with a coffee in between my palms. I look at Damian this time and found him looking at me.“The weather looks perfectly fine for me to just stay on bed, curling my toes, covered with sheets and watch a movie.” I look at him and found him smiling at me. “Guess, that would be my plans for today.” I smiled before putting my toes on the stool and laid my chin on my knee the second after before sipping on my coffee. I smiled inside. How vibrant the day is despite the fact that it’s raining outside. Damian chuckles across me so I look at him and found him nodding his head this time. “Well, then lets watch a movie together?” I give him an eyeing look making him chuckle on his own place. He sound so sexy with that little laugh so I groaned and look away. “But if you don’t like me around, I understand tho

“Anyway, so you are staying inside today?” I nod my head. “I guess so. Suggest me a movie.” “Oh, a movie on a cold weather sounds so nice. Are you going to watch alone?” That question struck me, making me bit my lower lip and turns silent. Later on, I heard my best friend giggling from the other line, already guessing what is going on. “Watching a movie on a cold weather with someone sounds so sexy! Okay, I am recommending 365 DNI! Thank me later.” The title doesn’t ring a bell to me so I suggest agreed and made a mental note to her suggestion. After a few more minutes, we both hang up and I went inside the bathroom finally. *** After taking my time inside the bathroom, I went out with my robe still on and while drying my hair using the other towel. I look at my phone screen to check if there is a notification but like what I expected, those are still coming from my I*******m account so I ignored those and slump down on top of the bed while rubbing the towel through my hair. Damian and I went inside the guestroom right after he said that he is done with all his personal business. I then excitedly ran towards the LED television to start our plan for a movie marathon. While humming a song, I felt him stand beside me so I look at him and he is setting his laptop on the mini table as well. I chuckled with a nodding head. “Right. I forgot that we need a laptop to cast a screen.” I murmured which he responded with a light chuckle. “I know that you weren’t getting one so I took the initiative, knowing you…” He trailed with an obvious chuckle. I gasp. “Knowing me, what?” My eyes widen while crossing both of my arms over my chest, eyeing him thoroughly. He laugh. “Knowing that you are not as organized as you think, this minion.” He added which made me gasp hastily. “You did not just insulted me, Dawson.” He look at me and he stop doing what he is currently doing before grinning, trying to make fun of me even more. “What if I just did, Laurier?” I bit my uppe

Days and weeks passed by so fast. Damian and I maintained the distance, we did not talk like the usual. We just talk about the improvements of the baby, nothing more personal. I kept reminding myself to be strong for this little me inside me and that I should continue this damn of a hell-hole.Today, it’s Friday. I check for the time and sees it’s almost twelve in the afternoon already so I grab some few slices from the steak I ordered from Denvi’s place. I go on my monthly check up as well and

People there are enjoying their little vacation, perhaps some of these are students who just finished their term exam. We are both leaning on his car while we are on the side way. Silence envelopes us for long minutes now, no one is talking. We just enjoyed our company without necessary words to speak. And lastly, why is he treating Aubrey unlikely? But the latter seems cool seeing us yesterday—like the first day I saw her. It’s already eight in the evening when Alaric sent me home after hours of riding the car near the sea side. After Damian left earlier, Alaric invited me for a drive for me to ease the burden feeling I was dealing with earlier. Unlike what Damian said, I did not wait for him back there. And now, as I head inside the n=entrance of the house, the lights from the living room are already off except upstairs. I took a heavy breath while going towards the kitchen and drink a glass of water. I lean for a few seconds on the counter before removing my blazer as I walk upstairs, burnt out and with a heavy heart.I check the balcony of Damian is there but he wasn’t so I am sure he is inside his room. I turn the knob right and sees him reading a book on his table. He look up at me and sigh before going back to the book he is reading. That’s it. I do not know what pushes me to invite him here but I just feel like going in here, did not really expect that he’ll go with me.Few seconds passed when I saw him offering me a tumbler of water, moving it to and fro in front of my face. “Here.”My gaze shifted towards him confusedly. “You already drank in here.” I muttered, reminding him that he already used this and I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to use it as well, knowing that he used it first-hand.He chuckled. “Right. It was so stupid of me not to realize that.” He mumbled before looking around the area. “You wait here. I then turn around to look upstairs before nodding my head. “Sure, if you want to.” I simply mumbled before I fix few useless papers on the carpet. Alaric just nod my head, not responding anymore. Few more minutes has passed one more time when he stand up. I follow him with my gaze as he started roaming around. “Uh, are you seeing him now?” He shake his head with a smile. “No, I was about to ask if you guys can print out papers here.” I immediately nod my head and stand up. “Of course.
