"Be my partner." He repeated suddenly, once again. He asked me about three times yesterday. "I can't." I said, getting up. I tried to ignore the burning pain in my legs. "Why not?" I peeked through the door, and hopped out when I saw no servants. "Where are you going?" Adrian almost sounded panicked. He ran into the hallway. I looked over my shoulder. "Getting dressed.
