Chapter 169: Speech

Multiple demons fell to their knees with that word alone, unable to fight the order. The word rang through my bones. Anna still stood, but I saw Yroul fighting it. She bit her lip and fisted her hands as if it was an effort to keep standing.

"I said... BOW."

Adrian's loud voice vibrated around me. I held in a groan. My body wanted to go down. I wanted my knees to hit the ground and my forehead to touch the ground. He was my King, and I had to obey his order. I wanted to obey his order, wanted to please him.

The entire crowd fell to their knees. Servants, civilians and visitors all went down. Yroul also went down, her head bared to the side for her king.
