Chapter 110: A car... Or a horse?

He gripped my waist tighter and only let go once I was fully seated. Releasing a big breath and checking if everybody was in, I started the car and we tried the process again.

The car jumped and drove over rocks, through big puddles of water and under branches. "I love driving." I said in thought. "Better than riding a horse?" Aiden asked me suddenly. I whipped my head to him and for a moment, I was lost in his eyes.

Dracula. Dracula was still with Adrian. I hoped he was taking care of him properly.

"No. Not better than riding a horse." I answered truthfully and looked forward again. "You mean Dracula?" Fay asked me out of nowhere. "Who is Dracula?" Dante asked. "I want a horse." Elyse said at the same time with a dreamy expression.

Aiden whipped his head to them, and then to me. Almost like he was shocked by something. Maybe he had a phobia of vampires.

"Where to?" I asked Aiden, who was still looking shocked. The paper was in his hands and I put my elbows on the middle part to
