Chapter 168: Knocking

Another knock at the door made Sam throw a pillow at it.

"Sort it yourself, Burta!" Sam shouted from beside me.

I grinned. This was the fifth time Burta had come round. "You've given him one week to sort a wedding for a King. Give him a break." I said, my voice muffled by the pillow. Finally, I lifted my head. "I'll be right there!" I called out to Burta.

I swear I could hear a relieved sigh from the other side of the door.

"She won't be!" Sam yelled as his hand traced along my back. He pushed my head back down into the pillow with his other hand while his teeth grazed my shoulder. A soft grin escaped me, but I gently pushed Sam away, wincing as I felt the soreness in my body.

Blood stained the sheets. My body was utterly used and broken, but in a delicious way. Teeth marks scattered along my skin, handprints decorated my hips, waist and neck, and every muscle trembled from the thorough exertion.

"Burta can handle it, wildflower. Stay in bed with me." Sam said in that entrancing voice
