Chapter 0004

Darius’s POV

The delicious smell of food lingered in the air from the kitchen but this did nothing to snap me out of my thoughts.

I shook my right foot against the hard oak wood floor of the dining hall as my impatience grew faster than a building flood. Shana was taking too long to bring the girl to me.

I knew I shouldn’t be getting this worked up over a prisoner but I couldn’t help myself. From the moment I had laid my eyes on her unconscious body, I wanted her. I needed her –and Shana was wasting my time!

I was used to having my dinner alone but not tonight. Tonight, I wanted to share it with this prisoner. I wanted to hold a conversation with her. Fucking her would be much more enjoyable if I knew a thing or two about her at least.

The guards said she had stumbled into my territory and I could have let them play with her before sending her back to her pack but her long curly hair had caught my attention.

More than that, her curves were irresistible. I had to have her. Yet Shana was making the process take longer.

I stomped my feet on the wooden floor as I jumped off the chair and made for the room myself.

Whatever was keeping her, I would find out on my own. I had given them enough time, I thought with brewed anger.

But just as I took the turn that led to the corridor, I saw a trembling Shana standing with her head bowed low. She was coming towards the dining and as she saw me, she froze right there on the spot.

“Where is she?” I growled.

“I-I- I tried to explain to her but sh-she ref-refused to change,Alpha…” she stuttered with trembling fingers.

It was good that she feared this much for I was capable of having her head for such a rebellious attitude.

I narrowed my eyes at Shana, trying to sniff out any lies or games but her fear was enough to repulse me.

“You are dismissed,” I said with a wave of my hand.

I continued my walk to the room the girl was kept. I pushed the door open and the startled girl on the bed got to her feet and tried her best to glare at me with confidence.

I raised my brows in surprise as no one in my pack had dared to stand their ground in my presence like this. But this girl was making an effort.

Interesting…

“Why did you refuse to get dressed?” I asked in a stern voice.

She opened her mouth to speak but no words left her mouth.Her green eyes soon faltered as she could no longer stare into my dark ones.

I felt a small pinch in my soul as somewhere within me, I wanted her to keep staring at me the way she had.

“I don’t like repeating myself but I will do it just this once. Pick up a dress right now and change!” I ordered as my stern dark eyes stayed glued to her lowered gaze.

She stood there unmoving as I had just spoken to the wind and not her.

If there was anything I hated more than repeating myself, it was getting silence as an answer when I gave out an order.

My anger boiled like lava in an active volcano as I snapped out at her, “If you do not speak this instance I will strip you off naked myself and make you put on the damned dress!” I roared and my voice echoed around the walls of the room.

Her green eyes flashed up to meet mine and the anger she saw was enough to get her talking. But rather than talk, she fell to her knees and held my feet.

“Please, do not kill me… have mercy,” she begged and her soft hands moved upward toward my knees. “Please, let mego. I am of no use to you. Please don’t kill me. I beg of you.”

I couldn’t tell if it was the movements of her hands on my legs or the sound of her voice, it was like music that sent shivers down my toes.

If I thought she was alluring before then now I thought that of her and more. She was very intriguing. I couldn’t wait for dinner to be over so I could have her for myself.

“Get up,” I said in an even tone. I didn’t plan on killing her but her fears were going to become a very strong weapon for me.

“I won’t kill you…” I added in a tease.

She wiped her tears and quickly got up. She stood there and waited like she knew I had something else in mind.

Smart girl…

“I want you to become my pleasure woman. My little whore. I will let you go whenever I get bored,” I stated.

She gasped and stared up at me in panic. “But… I can’t…” she trailed off and I shrugged.

“If you can’t do that, then I am afraid I will have to kill you,” I said nonchalantly.

Of course, I wouldn’t kill such a gem. I would rather lock her up forever until she gave in than kill her.

But the panic in her eyes made me interested in why she thought she couldn’t be my pleasure woman.

“Why can’t you do it though?” I asked her.

“I am a virgin…” she whispered and I watched in amazement as her cheeks flushed a soft shade of pink.

In that instant, it felt like a blanket of stars had descended over her and I wanted her even more. She was innocent and perfect.

“That shouldn’t be a problem for me,” I said as I took a step toward her.

She flinched but didn’t back away as I neared her. I let my fingers run against her arm. A flash of electricity sizzledthrough our bodies as they made contact.

Tonight was going to be a very long one, I thought with a smile dancing on my lips.

“Get dressed, I will be waiting,” I whispered but my hands continued to linger on her body.

Her skin was like new silk under the sun and I couldn’t help myself.

She looked up at me and those alluring green eyes of hers sent a wave of pleasure through me. I could take her right here and there was nothing anyone could do, yet I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

I wanted her to desire me just as much as I desired her. I let my fore finger come to her jaw line and I caressed it softly as my eyes fell to her lips.

The distance between us started reducing, as I found myself drawing closer to those sensuous lips. I had to taste them… I had to–

A resounding harsh slap cut my thoughts short.

I moved my hand slowly to my cheek as my brain connected the action.

She had dared slap me!
