"How did it go today?" I asked Gianni as I walked into his study.

He was sitting behind his desk and he sighed heavily before answering, "We did what we needed to convey our message. How did it go with my grandfather?"

I sat on the edge of the desk near him, "He has a crush on the lady at the art studio. Bonnie?"

"I know. He has harboured this for years."

"Well, I invited them both for dinner later this week. He just needs a little push, I hope you don't mind?"

Gianni smiled, "You are finally beginning to treat this place as your home, how could I mind?" his eyes fell to the bracelet on my wrist, "Where did you get that from?"

"Oh, my mother was standing a few cars down and she gave it to me. It was really strange."

"You do not speak of them much. When will I have the pleasure of meeting her?"

"I'm not sure if that's such a good idea."
